I like it here. One of the few american cities with great public transportation and urban planning. Lots of stuff to do. World class museums etc. Almost no crime in most areas.

Downsides, it's almost as expensive as NYC and San Fran and the weather is shit except for May-October. It isn't a party city. Girls here are very career oriented and don't go out past 8 on weekdays.

Lots of trees and hills.

Currently living in the finger lakes region of NY, made a few friends here but it's much of the same. Vt has been complete shit since the 90s. NH is full of heroin addicts. Jersey is a a toxic pit. Penn seems pretty nice but I have only traveled through it. Conn & Del are basically smaller versions of Jersey and should be avoided at all costs. Best bet is Maine or the Adirondack region of NY as far as I can tell.... But wtf do I know... I have only lived in this region for 35 years.
