Why do all Amish dress the same and have the same beards and hats? Is it a cult? Is it a Brave New World society? What are their beliefs? Why do they believe themselves higher than regular Christians for example?
Jeremiah Jenkins
holy fuck this is brilliant, they have created an ethnostate free of degeneracy
Alexander Reed
A lot of it's not even based on Christianity but tradition or what the elders say. The Bible is read in German but they don't speak German etc. A huge revival is happening in the Amish community. Many are questioning the old practices and reading the Bible for themselves.
Asher Cook
>making it out of wood Lol no wonder they keep having to raise those things up
I admire these people. I honestly have to say that. I am not religious, but I envy them for their true, real life.
Levi Butler
Dutch ancestry. As someone who's dutch himself, I have a jewy nose too.
Brody Turner
They've got that undiluted 1800's American phenotype.
Nathaniel Reed
I admire them too. I'd be amish if I wasn't already ruined by modernity. It's too hard to give up at this point. I'd only be willing to do it if my entire family and a few select friends joined too.
So an Amish schism is coming? Will it be bloody or can they resolve their issues peacefully?
Are the women hot or do they look like inbred hicks?
Zachary Diaz
Because you are such a brilliant architect
Carson Nguyen
>A huge revival is happening in the Amish community. Many are questioning the old practices and reading the Bible for themselves. The prots is about to be proddied.
God help them. If this is true then the Amish culture and way of life will soon go away.
Brody Russell
>The Bible is read in German but they don't speak German etc This is objectively false. They speak a weird dialect of German. It sounds a bit like Swiss German mixed with Low German.
Logan Williams
>amerimutts don't know what a Roman nose is
First the average amercan was making fun of them. Now they are laughting at the average mutt
They do. You can also join the hutterites (or Mennonites, I cant remember which) if you want to get laid like a champ. They're always looking for fresh outside DNA to impregnate the girls. It's a VERY strict way of living, and you literally only have sex for procreation, but you can fuck a varied number of girls there.
>that Abraham Lincoln looking motherfucker on the right
Sebastian Moore
I think he knows that
Christian Allen
Any sauce on this Amish revival??
Brody Young
are they welcoming of outsiders?
hypothetically, if i were to approach their leader and say that i was lost, seeking purpose and fulfillment, and that i desired to assimilate and adopt their culture/beliefs, would they accept me as one of their own? i have often thought about doing this but i wouldnt even know where to begin. i am just vaguely aware of them as a people due to threads in the past like these ones.
i have seen some mennonite communitiys in southern Pennsylvania. they are very shy but i figure at the very least they could offer you some valuable perspective shifts on their way of life.
Liam Powell
WE MUST SECURE THE EXISTENCE OF OUR PEOPLE, AND A FUTURE FOR DEITSCH PEOPLE.
Isaac Diaz
It originally was a small cult of Luddite Baptists numbering only 200. They won't stop breeding! That's what we need to emulate.
Thought it was Pennsylvania Dutch or something like that
Lucas Davis
Yeah, that's what its called. It's intelligible to German speakers, though barely so. It's quite remarkable considering they've been isolated from Germany for 200 years. It's called Dutch because Colonial America referred to any Germanic peoples as Dutch.
Nathaniel Bennett
Have you kept in contact with her? How does she like it?
Asher Brown
If the we lose the culture war bros and im still alive after it ends I am unironically joining an Amish villiage in 15 years
Levi Russell
they do but its very hard. Remeber they are hardcore christian so you have to learn t heir brand of Jeebus before they will take you seriously
Ryder Sullivan
I live in an amish county and the amish are rural jews
Noah Parker
So there are no Amish that speak English? You have to learn their language while living with them?
Aaron Anderson
No they speak English as well. Many run businesses. In fact where I grew up an Amish guy owned a lawnmower/chainsaw business and Mennonites run the local grocery store.
