They don’t explain what Socialism is, and how it involves workers taking the means of production from the capitalist class whether via violent usurption and revolution or through democratic means. They don’t explain to them that Socialism has a very specific “he who does not work, does neat” policy attached to it, since food rations under the philosophy would be determined by completing a certain amount of labour hours, likely in exchange for labour vouchers.
They don’t explain the ills of Socialism and how it’s failed every single attempt, since it’s inception.
They don’t point to the many deaths attributed to it, or the limitations it brings.
They don’t explain that nothing is free and that work is the price.
And they don’t explain that Democratic Socialism as they call it, is merely neoliberalism, and not actually Socialism.
And that all of the Socialist countries are actually more capitalistic than the one they live in.

Socialism is hands down the best system of governence out of all of them but what always ends up fucking it up is that people desire and still desire it because they just want other people's stuff not to improve everyone's life but just because they get to live better for a short while at the expense of the country's current system which had progress in trying to establish coherence and connection between every citizen. It could be democracy or monarchy anything really.

Socialism is dead. It's never coming back.
