Normally states with labor unions have higher standards of living and higher wages to their 'right-to-work' state counterparts, why are you against them?

I think folks of like professions ought to be able to get together and work for their common interests, if that is what you are axing. Today labor unions don't seem to be too focused on that, though.

I think something like National syndicalism seems attractive.

I work in a plant that is non-union. My fear would be that unionizing would incentivize the company to out source.

More of an effect of societies problems than a cause. There are some pretty glaring issues like not being able to out right fire problem employees but it's honestly better than the alternative of ancap retardation.

Good for workers (to a certain degree).

The problem is that it has gone entirely overboard. It's almost impossible to fire people if they are incompetent and do a shit job.

They also managed to get LAS (Law of Employment protection) in Sweden, that contains a bit that can be simplified as "First to get in, last to get out". It's not the only thing it contains but that is among the most important bits.

This is obviously good for someone who's getting older and can't work as fast as young people, but have not yet reached the age for pension (which btw is completely fucking shit in Sweden), while it's very bad for someone who recently started at the company.

It also protects people who do a fucking shit job, just because they have worked for longer.
It becomes a hassle to fire or cancel peoples contracts, and is among the causes why people (especially in things like working for a store, driving trucks, picking shit forklifts etc) never get hired for fulltime work and get a real contract directly for the company instead of third party, as it's a crapshoot if they guy you are hiring has some form of drive to work, or will just be a useless nagging faggot who does the bare minimal to not be filed for a exception known as "refusal to work" or "arbetsvägran". Which basically means you are not doing your job at all.

If you got some guy who has worked for you for 10 years, but is now not even trying. And you hire 3 guys during those 10 years.
You cannot simply fire the guy who has worked there for 10 years. You need to fire or cancel the contracts of the 3 guys first, in order from
the one who was hired last to the one who you hired first. Then you can cancel the contract of the guy who has worked for 10 years (or fire him).

You also need a exceptional reason for the firing part.
It also costs some serious money if this is on a larger scale. And a bunch of other shit.

TL;DR Unions are decent if used correctly. But they are not so much anymore.

It's great. You get to sit around all day doing nothing, get payed extra for "union work," go to seminars and union cooperation meetings around the world for free and then sell the worker's asses to the management after "tough negotiations."

They leech off of a company and hustle out bigger pay to the union, they're also usually run by niggers or wops.

They are more often than not also supporters of commies and shit or degeneracy overall.
And the leaders often get caught living like kings on your dime with juicy salaries.

They can also be corrupt (locally). As I experienced myself where they did jack shit to do what they were supposed to do and caved in time after time to the company. Useless.

This. So many of them just sit and do fucking nothing because by law they cannot be forced to go do the work they were originally hired for as they have "important union" stuff to do, and the company cannot deny them it willy nilly. Only if the current manpower is not enough and no one else can be brought in, then they could be forced to do some actual work. Otherwise they just sit in their office and smooth talk you.

Well they used to make sense, they are responsible for most of your rights and regulations regarding security, working hours etc. But now they are more of organisations that are useful in few instances and political tools. Still if you don't like getting fucked over by a company might as well join em they are easy and cheap to join.

I don't now, but when I did, I wouldn’t join the union and would frequently be (((intimidated))). Car keyed, shit in locker destroyed, hang up calls to house. Unions are a protection racket, and if they weren’t such big donors to the American left they would be classified as organized crime.

Garbage. Private unions can be reasonable - can be - but public sector unions are insane and shouldn't be allowed.
