Remember when working class blue collar men could afford a pickup truck? It was basically a national symbol.

Now those same models cost more than your average college grade makes in a year.

>Remember when working class blue collar men could afford a pickup truck?
They still can, with a fuck ton of debt.

That's why you buy a 2004 with 110,000 miles on the gauge and mod the fuck out of it.

As long as you keep defending capitalism, it'll stay this way.

no one is forcing you to buy a new truck. there are tons of reliable work trucks out there

We don't need to get rid of capitalism we just need to get rid of the things that are caused by capitalism you are writing on a capitalist website, eating capitalist food and living in capitalist housing.

Attached: hmm.jpg (4096x3072, 1.06M)

Just buy one thats 10+ years old. These new trucks are fucking junk anyway

This. Mega capitalists are the reason they want to replace whites, too, btw

Unironically the Ridgeline is a good vehicle. They are damn near bullet proof, have an awesome bed that is really great for fishing. The built in cooler/ice chest is really nice as well. The 3.5 liter engine is damn near bullet proof. I had a Titan prior to it and driveability wise its a vast improvement. Unibody chasis will be the future of mid-sized trucks, well I guess it doesn't matter due to our economy collapsing in a year or so.

>Japan
Most people don't want to buy such a type car even if they have enough money.

So what do you propose the Venezuelan system? USSR? China? We all know the latter will be the dominant one in 20-40 years. Once we fuck it up enough in the west they'll buy us up, the positive thing about it is that at least Jews will lose control as Asia is at least as racist as we are.

The point isn't that there aren't work arounds. Its that things are clearly getting worse. My dad had a GED and does unskilled manual labor. With that, we was able to buy a new truck and home before 24 years old in the 80s, and still save towards retirement. I am a fucking software engineer with a Master's degree, and between rent and student loans, I can't even start saving for a house down payment or retirement.

It's both, mate.

All systems are corruptible. But the reason I say you have to stop "defending" it, is because it's the only way people will understand what needs to be done. You can't just walk up to people and propose intelligent ideas and they will understand everything. Movements that actually get something done are always started by hating something, it's much more simple for a simple human to get.

No, its shitty boomers looking to optimize their retirement portfolios. Hedge fund managers playing the long game actually oppose immigration, because they know that once America becomes non-white, it will rapidly crash and become just another developing third world shithole.

why would you buy a pick up truck if you're not constantly picking shit up and transporting stuff?

Attached: ohjpzh6v9gg21.jpg (1006x1024, 84K)

>blue collar men

so the mentally retarded?

BIGGER
IS
BETTER
Also you can control the road because it intimidates other drivers since if they crash into you it's pretty much guaranteed death

Having the availability. Even if it is once a month, my midsize truck does everything it needs and gets 25mpg to boot. I fill the bed every 2 weeks give or take. I occasionally have 5 people transported around as well so its nice to have. Also I like to go fishing and trucks are great for that especially mine having an ice chest in it.

As a retard you don't deserve such privileges

I don't know. People love driving giant trucks and cars here, they love driving for hours and hours like it's a sport

Oh you're one of the "everyone should just ski and take pictures " intellectual elite

>I am a fucking software engineer with a Master's degree, and between rent and student loans, I can't even start saving for a house down payment or retirement.
>rent

Live in a van.

Why the fuck would u get a masters degree

Nothing has changed but the value of the dollar. Looks fine to me.

Attached: f150.png (1241x487, 160K)

You can get a 4 year old one for like $10k

I know multiple Googlers who lived in a van. This is the way.

Get the fuck out of California if you want to buy a house. Houses are cheap in the south/midwest and software engineers routinely make over $100k here.

Blame the unions

Parents and professors told me to. I was retarded and listened to them.

>unibody
>truck

Choose one

good, who needs shitty trucks and gaz guzzling SUVs

fuck mermericunts for destroying automobile trends. you deserve being pushed out by japanese automakers

Oh no one has told you that in the 21st century you're supposed to have at least a college degree in something useful?

Normal IQ families have realized this in the 1960's and did their duty to elevate their kids

The structure of our economy is the problem.
In relentless pursuit of short-term growth, banks try to load up every consumer with as much debt as possible.
If they can't grow the debt through one avenue, they go for another.
This creates instability, cripples growth, and sows resentment.

It's not capitalism per se.
It's short-term, financialized, transnational capitalism.

Safer that sitting around in the asbestos and lead paint dwelling their parent's peer pressured them into buying (so they could move to Florida).

Safer than shopping or any other forms of being in public, with the rampant untouchable nigs and spics trying to make you the next wurlstar or gofundme protagonist.

All that's left to do...is drive

I know people are stupid and yes the discrepancy between high wage jobs and normal wage jobs is spiralling out of control, but that isn't all capitalisms fault, it's mostly greedy people clinging on to power and showering the people who they need to stay in power with money, setting back everyone else. But that is basically every system where people rule and govern or control other people.

If you just want a truck, they are actually pretty cheap. Blu collar guy used to never have leather, cruise, GPS, etc.

>Safer that sitting around in the asbestos and lead paint dwelling their parent's peer pressured them into buying (so they could move to Florida)

Hits too close to home. My parents literally sold the house and are renting a beach front apartment in Florida. Literally flushing every last dollar of inheritence down the toilet.

Because I tow a 37" foot trailer.

I just bought a 19 f150 at 0% financing.

Stop having shit debt slavery scores your dumb goys.

>"

This is the best part of owning a truck. If you turn on your turn signal and some faggot speeds up to block you from changing lanes, you can just keep on going. They’ll move out of your way or die. They all move.

Yeah bro... You don't need an f-350. Ford still makes Rangers. They're perfectlt fine and 80% less expensive.

>owning a personal truck
Why? It's a working vehicle, it's a complete waste to have one for personal use. It's like having a working dog as a pet except more expensive.

15 years ago, you could get a gmc basic work truck for 12 grand off the lot....

now they start at like 28 thousand and that is basic package.

they are not affordable.

a new cherokee from jeep is only 18k tho..

Better be ready to help with those upcoming healthcare expenses bucko (they're going to push 115+, the "nest egg" runs out at 85).

Back when I was your age, we didn't let grandpa even pay for his own food or horse racing bets, son. You millennials are selfish and shortsighted *sighs*.

U mad I cut you off today?

Goy you still can, just need to take on some debt ofcourse

You misspelled Raptor, goy.

Attached: 1556744845903m.jpg (923x1024, 149K)

People are just stupid.
If you only use your truck once a month or so its cheaper to rent them than to pay for something that get 15 to 21 mpg.

you are a fucking idiot
Ford still make ranger outside of the US
US truck market is fuck dumb cucks

>Rangers are perfectly fine

They aren't bad cars, but they are babies first truck status.

Good luck towing anything up a hill.

>college grade

with spelling abilities like this I can see why

Haha, just like Spinal Tap.. 37 foot I mean.

Attached: Stonehenge.png (847x474, 1M)

>Raptor
Useless boomer meme truck.

They quit making small trucks like the s10 and ranger. This blows

nah man, the Ranger is back for $24k

ford.com/trucks/ranger/

Oh yeah? That's not what the guy at the dealership told me and he's smarter than you boy...he's a professional.

Hows that degree we wiggled out of helping you with to put the down payment on this puppy going?

>doesn't do anything outside

People are just stupid and blue pilled as fuck when it comes to Suvs and Trucks.
4x4 and AWD is almost complete a waste of money for 99% of the people who have it. Sure it helps you get going from a stop if some of your wheels are spinning, but thats is about it.
It doesn't improve handling or stopping power, and these systems weight cost you a lot of money over time. Tell me how many people have you seen get stuck in loose dirt, who where just driving to and from work.
Sure if you do a lot of driving up hill on unpaved roads you might want to get 4x4 and/or some AWD systems.
popularmechanics.com/cars/a3091/the-myth-of-the-all-powerful-all-wheel-drive-15202862/

I have to get a masters or a bachelors to do architecture. I was dumb and went to an unaccredited school. I might kms

These trucks and SUVs are a rip off.

Ford doesn't even make Cars anymore other than the Mustang, because they realized they can raise the height a bit and charge an extra 20 grand selling it as an SUV.

The margins they make are so much better but people are willing to pay.

I'm one of the 1%. I have a small (20ft) boat, and without 4x4 or AWD, I run the risk of just spinning my wheels at the ramp.

I've seen giant pickups (but 2x4) towing something little like mine struggling to get up the ramps in mid-late summer when there's algae etc. Meanwhile in my AWD minivan, I can pull up no problem.

Meanwhile my step-brother in Florida, who tows nothing and has no snow, etc, has a giant 4x4 SUV simply for status.

Part of this is most of these trucks are business write offs for entrepreneurs... but if business isn't as good you aren't getting as much of a deal.

its nice to have the option. Like having a gun and not needing it vs not having a gun and needing it. Also, if a car rear ends you and you have your trailer hitch on, it fucks them up and saves your bumper

I bet you are old as fuck.
No bank is gonna get a 21 year old with barely any credit history a 0% loan.

Most people here are not capitalists. National Socialism and Fascism have free and open markets, but also a regulated and controlled economy. The alt right are the only people offering actual criticisms of capitalism, and proposing solutions. Screeching about "fuck capitalism" and "eat the rich" while you drink your 5 dollar Starbucks isn't going to change anything.

we call it florida rich. all those nice cars you see driving around, literally fueled by debt

It is sort of bizarre... some trucks are in price range of a 2019 911

bought a 2002 with 256k 3 years ago for 1500
put another 1500 to fix everything that was broken and refresh all the consumables
280k now and works just fine

BUT

the new ones are so nice, it's hard to resist getting rid of this one that just works and getting a new one
there's nothing the old one can't do (I don't tow more than 5000lbs, I don't need under 8s 0-60) but new car/truck smell is such a powerful drug

Attached: 1469476830486.gif (476x268, 1.72M)

Everyone aims for all of these extra addons, rim's, lifts, thousands in interior bullshit. That's why they cost so fucking much.

Get a base model with some window tint. Shit will last a long time.

nigger

And a 1999 911 is worth 300k, or some clown shit. "Last of the NA's" "pristine late model" "I know what I've got"

Funny... it’s never really mentioned this way, but so are property tax on land & business. City & country push you into financing taxes into mortgage.

Your right the system is riggered for niggers

Bitch are you kidding me? A beat up +10 Chevrolet Surburban where I'm at is about $5000

I live in an area of the US that gets a lot of snow in the winter. It's great having a four wheel drive truck to plow the driveway and having a safer easier drive in snow covered streets.

I have a 16 foot john boat, a RWD 4cycle ranger, and have never had a problem with boat ramps in 10 years that I have had the boat.

Buy used, fuckhead. People who buy new cars are the biggest retards on the face of the Earth.

this is pretty average for a used truck where I live. And keep in mind that Ram is less desirable than Ford, Toyota, or GM.

garberautomall.com/inventory/used-2017-ram-1500-slt-4wd-truck-3c6rr7lt8hg565249

Somehow one of my Mexican coworkers bought a $47000 Silverado with 22 inch rims yet he has a 450 credit rating and he didn't put any money down. His payments are close to $900/month. He has so much debt already, it baffles me that he got approved for the loan.

Fuck you glownigger kikebook faggots I know you're reading this now.

First thing that pops up while browsing boomerblogs

Attached: Screenshot_2019-05-03-10-27-42.png (1440x2560, 1.19M)

>thinks car dealers car about credit rating

Find an old ford ranger thats a manual/ has a 3.0 v6 vulcan

Thank me later

I hate what they have done with trucks now. Its meant to do work. I dont want an ass temperature sensor on the seat to turn on the heating if it detects my ass getting cold

Attached: 1556211476392.jpg (644x960, 71K)

I don't know your other specifics, but our ramps get slick for some reason.

another huge thing is to make sure tires aren't shitty. I've had a couple "close" calls where I started to slip, so I just put it into low and took it nice and easy and made it out.

Maybe our ramps are steeper or something? I dunno, but it's a very common occurance at our ramps for pickups to have problems getting their boats out at the end of a hot summer day

If you live in the city (like a lot of truck owners), there's absolutely no reason to own one (especially if you can borrow one by the hour form Home Depot) but if you live in a house on anything more than 0.2 acres, there's always shit to move
also, because of CAFE regulations that connect fuel consumption to vehicle footprint, trucks are the only area where car manufacturers aren't heavily restricted in what they do

PLUS

the answer is simple: if money is cheap, the only thing cheap is money; easy credit forces any reasonable person that wants to buy something to compete with lots of 4-500 credit score, thousands in dept, 30k a year earning stupid people.

Attached: 1469635031506.jpg (2126x1708, 3.34M)

I make 1000 a month payments on my car. Minimum payment is like 300ish. I do not like debt. Got rid of all my student debt in a year. Might just pay the rest of the car off. I have the cash.

Ford f150 Lareit is going for $52,000. With better tow capacity, it shoots up to 60k. RAM trucks, top tow line is $80,000. At least Ford has no finance charge for well qualified buyers.

t. person looking to get a ford f150 lariet.

Attached: ridin-high.jpg (500x300, 38K)

I would buy this. Too bad they went back to halogen lights on the base models but it makes sense and its cheaper to repair

Hard to imagine how much they charge for their diesels.....and they dont even use the 7.3l

Ah the poor mans argument.

>remember the great assblating of the 2020s, when boomers dying caused every market they've inflated to crash like the challenger?
You will.

- Or keep it all original and restore the fuck out of it. Only faggots drive those mortgaged to the hilt plastic computer schmuckmobiles.

Attached: 93s-10.jpg (1280x835, 282K)

People like you get shot by other drivers.

I'm going to build a house on my acreage up north next year and I'm going to need a good 4 x 4 truck for a snowplow (3 foot snowfalls from Lake Effect are common) and I'm looking for an F-250 or bigger to do just what you described.

How much does the cheapest f150 cost? Seems like they used to be about $15,000

well i'm putting my boat into salt water. might have something to do with it.

>buying a new car
Lol

You can buy a 2008 Lexus GX with under 150,000 miles in the $10k range - that 4.6l Toyota V8 is good for another 200,000 miles at the very minimum

You can buy 10 year old F150s with 100k miles and most model year Fords have no issue hitting 200k miles - early 2000s have some shittty electronics however. 10 year old F150 goes for $10-15k

were you pointing at your mouth or your dad's mouth when you made that last statement?
