No distinction between corporations and natural persons for income tax rates. If you have a liability shield, you are a person and are taxed as such.
Hold corporate executives and major shareholders personally responsible for crimes committed by their corporations (e.g. Wells Fargo fraudulently signing people up for accounts, telemarketers calling to scam you at all hours of the day)
Dividends taxed at the same rate as earned income.
Raise baseline tax-exempt income to $15K/person.
Restore Kennedy tax cut* with inflation adjustment, the righties keep saying it was good and for once they are right.
* The Kennedy tax cut was a massive tax hike compared to the modern US standard.
Government may not discriminate based on gender. Government shall, however, prohibit discrimination based on gender.
End drug prohibition. Devote all money currently used for drug prohibition to interdicting drugs crossing the national borders. People can enter freely, but the US has exactly zero reason to let los zetas bring cocaine in. Severe penalties for involuntarily drugging people.
Abortion is legal. Contraception is freely available to everyone so there's a lot LESS abortion than there is now (or than there was in the 1950s...).
Government competes in the healthcare market. Any corporation that can actually be successfully outcompeted by the State is obviously terminally inefficient and no real loss.
Medicare for all. Private health care still available (think UK, not Canada).
Bankruptcy applies to student loans. That fucks over any company dumb enough to loan people piles of money for completely useless classes, while doing only minimal harm to companies that applied due diligence.
'Conscience exceptions' to medical care limited to reasonable things: e.g. I can refuse to perform a sex reassignment myself if I don't approve of sex reassignment; I cannot, however, refuse to sell someone a pill they might use for sex reassignment.
