>minimum wage is raised to $15 an hour
>minimum wage workers make more money so are put in a higher tax bracket
>businesses aren't required to hire full time employees so they can easily slash hours and hire part timers
>jobs that offer benefits like health insurance and dental usually require employees to work a certain amount of hours each week to be eligible, meaning they could save money by not giving their employees enough hours each week to be eligible for said benefits
>would likely need 2-3 part time jobs to make 40 hours a week hike paying extra for insurance
>since wages rise, prices of good rise too
>Start your own business
>pay yourself $500,000/hr
>watch as the trickle down kicks in
>1 guy said it so all of pol believes it
Sure thing leaf. Tell us more
It doesn't really work like that, but it also kind of does.
It does for large companies that are basically monopolies. That would also be disastrous for small businesses as they have to raise their wages against big competitors just to make a profit; make them pay their employees $15 an hour and most small businesses will be forced out of business by cheaper competitors
Kick out the TFW's.
No foreign worker should be doing jobs previously held by high school kids.
Minimum wage has a proportional relationship with unemployment.
Need more unemployed people? Raise the minimum wage. And vice versa.
The same people who cry for $15 per hour will bemoan the fall of the local small business owner.
I'm amazed that they can't see that raising the minimum wage plays directly into international corporate-cocksuckers' hands.
Why to leftyfags attack Charlie Kirk and Shapiro? Kirk is already the stupidest and cringiest, and jew has an obvious agenda, its like kicking a disabled kid.
Wow! Outstanding post!
I bet you're the type of faggot that replies to even the simplest of questions with a
>grimace
>foot shuffling
>shrugs shoulders
>Yes and no
Did he really say that? Seems like a mistake.
But, I'm never going to vote for a Democrat or Socialist anyway, so there's that.
Lower the minwage so my boss doesn't have to pay my lazy coworkers so much and can give some of that to me instead.
The thing is that wages come out of the profit. The more profit that has to go toward wages, the worse it is for the capitalist that ultimately keeps the lions share. But at the same time, there's a number of things they can do to offset it so it doesn't effect them as much i.e outsourcing, making people more unemployed, or raiding through imperialist war.
>I'm amazed that they can't see that raising the minimum wage plays directly into international corporate-cocksuckers' hands.
Most people are economically illiterate, they fell for the paternal-state meme spouted by politicians bought by corporate lobbies. They want daddy state to replace their father and trust it as they would their own family. So if daddy state raises the minimum wage they can't see that as a bad thing because they can't believe daddy state would do something that hurts them, daddy state is there to protect you and if raising the minimum wage has negative impacts then it's not daddy state that caused the problem but the evil business owners that are not hiring them and paying them an inflated salary.
Money and currency in of itself is meaningless but also necessary in western countries that have a large population because resources are finite; meaning a price has to be assigned to said good so not just anyone can have access to it. Take away their money and they'll do whatever they can to stay in power
Money (leaving out finance capital which is a different beast) is merely a "token". But prices come from value: the more labour time and the cost of resources something is, the more its exchange value and therefore price goes up. That is why in a normal market, a car will never cost the same as a pencil, because the car took more labour time and resource cost to make.
I'm aware of that, but prices will keep rising if minimum wage raises; the value of goods won't affect this
One guy never even said it
This meme kills the libertarian
My boss cares about me so much he gave me his responsibilities to take care of on nights and weekends. He says I'm going to get a job as the assistant of his replacement if I work really hard.
Simple.
Barge in, stop the employer from doing his little predatory schemes of reducing hours to save money. Cut immigration completely thus reducing the prices of housing and let the price of goods rise while keeping an eye on them in case another capitalist pigs decide its more important for him to have two houses than having a healthy nation. Essentially, you let people make profit but you keep them from doing so at the expense of their people. Then everyone would go: wtf I love fascism now.
Well, let me make it clear I'm a marxist and I don't support raising minimum wage, its a socdem solution that doesn't fundamentally fix anything. But yeah, that would be true, the main thing is all the fuckery caused by forex. Sometimes a raised minimum wage or inflation can work in your favor when you bring other currencies you have to trade with into the equation.
This is exactly what it's like here
Shut up commie faggot, I live in it. All jobs are part time and wage-slave businesses (almost all of them) don't ever touch full-time unless you've been there for YEARS.
FULLTIME is a PRESTIGE, not a RIGHT.
>But but, muh $15hr
Good luck paying your bills when it's even harder to find a job, and when you finally get one it's only work 2/3 days a week making $14hr.
Get bent commie
t. Wage cuck in (((Socialist Paradise)))
>>jobs that offer benefits like health insurance and dental usually require employees to work a certain amount of hours each week to be eligible, meaning they could save money by not giving their employees enough hours each week to be eligible for said benefits
They already do this. Everyone does this.
>since wages rise, prices of good rise too
KEK no. That's not how economics works.
I don't support "minimum" wage idiot.
It depends on the system. Maybe in a Feudalistic type system where workers would have money control over the economy / currency than they do in Capitalist societies. It most certainly wouldnt ever work in a Marxist inspired Socialist state as a form of currency would be unneeded in a Socialist utopia
Abolish the federal minimal wage. Force companies to compete with each other to get employees.
>Cut immigration completely thus reducing the prices of housing
I envy your innocent trust in greedy landlords, they are the real cancer killing our societies
>not just getting rid of social security.
>tfw baby boomers and the government fucked the US
>government mixes social security into the spending money received from taxes.
>will only see 60% of my social security all together. If social security doesn’t collapse.
>mfw
>Cut immigration completely
Not happening. Period. Our Trump (Bernier) backed down completely. Immigration is clearly something (((they))) will fight tooth and nail to keep, Libtards included.
>thus reducing the prices of housing
Nope, the Leaf-Gov (yours might be similar) got a retarded plan and it's going to implement it to fix the problem they caused
>you let people make profit but you keep them from doing so at the expense of their people. Then everyone would go: wtf I love fascism now
(((They))) create the problem, (((they))) come back with a sollution
Its not really about the system, its more the division of labour across nations. If you have an import heavy economy like Britain, you want an inflated currency because you can purchase more for less relative to your economy. If you have a production based economy, you want a cheaper currency so you can sell more for less, attracting finance and real capital into your nation that you can then use to build domestic production.
In socialism money works differently because its centrally planned and in communism there is no money altogether because there's no law of value.
>Commie flag
>I don't support "minimum" wage idiot
Big companies do that now but it would happen on a much larger scale if $15 became the national minimum wage. And paying employees more would cause the prices of goods to rise; price inflation would cause this to happen because people would be making more money meaning that companies would be losing some of their profits by paying their employees more. But this can be offset by raising the price of their goods to cover for the additional expenses.
Socialism doesn't have a formal minimum wage, because it doesn't work like capitalism.
