On a purely intellectual level I loved Barr's performance. He clearly understands law and he understands the English language and the importance of words.

It may have seemed minor, but Barr standing up for his use of the word "spying" was significant. Other people may have tried to back off the word, but Barr explained why it is a GOOD ENGLISH WORD and he stands by it.

Barr almost seems like an autist or aspie who learned to control his emotions and deal with people. He at least seems to have the mindset to understand the consequences of allowing these crimes to go unpunished.

The problem is, understanding the consequences is not the same as making the right choice.
