What are some good Christian games? I think Bloodborne is one, you are a Christian warrior cleansing the world of demons, at one point you even have to bring sinners to sanctuary in church.
What are some good Christian games? I think Bloodborne is one...
Its a Christian tragedy but it is one
Easily one of the best games ever made.
>Violent game
>Christian game
Pick one
Violence can be part of Christianity when needed.
"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword."
Matthew 10:34
The whole game is about the dangers of miscegenation and jew science.
>christcringe excerpts
Honest Hearts expansion for Fallout New Vegas. The chap who voices Joshua Graham should be employed to read the whole of the Old Testament.

You've got two distinct types of Christians as main story protagonists: one who wants to protect an innocent tribe from the repeat horrors of war that destoryed his own people, and the other who wants to bring the vengeance of God Almighty down onto the warmongers, take the fight to them, and make no mistake, this is an extermination. You choose which to side with, and interestingly enough if you choose Graham the avenging angel you get the best cutscene ending.
It's possibly the very last time we're going to see Christians depicted in any sort of positive, active role manner in a near-contemporary set game, and it's a good 'un. The other benefits of HH are a backpack full of fruits and veg - so much stuff grows in Zion that you'll end up leaving a load behind - and the awesome .45 pistol with true silencer mod that you can craft armour peircing rounds for. You can complete it all with just the varmit rifle, too.
Beat it like 6 times, one of the most enjoyable games I’ve ever played, and killing false gods is a must.
>implying there's no violence in Christianity
They only got away with it because Mormonism and stealth jew love
Doom
Agony
Probably the two games that I've played with the strongest Christian worldview present.
"For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me."
- Matthew 10:35-38
Jesus is basically talking about cause and effect. Simply following Him will cause us to have great tribulation during our time on Earth, to such an extend that even our own family will be our enemies.
Violence in entertainment is an entirely different story. While violence itself is not listed as a sin in the Bible, God hates those who love it (Psalms 11:5). If we love playing a game that glorifies violence, then do we not love violence?
Well if you hit your enemy he's going to bleed. How does Bloodborne glorify violence? It's not like Mortal Kombat which goes over the top with it
Dante’s Inferno was an underrated gem. It has so many references to philosophy and Greek tragedy as well as real life people most likely in Hell. It’s a hack and slash but the story, scenery in hell and small details really make the game enjoyable. You should play it if you haven’t. It’s also satisfying choosing who to punish and save
Any FromSoftware game
I don't know if I'd call it Christian but Diablo and Diablo 2 are very enjoyable. The story is simple and entertaining as well
>If we love playing a game that glorifies violence, then do we not love violence?
I love those in the game my violence protects
Any weeb game
Sekiro is better and you play a secular child protector. It's anti-catholic
>Game about lovecraftian like God's is a Christian game
Retard
Also the whole thing is just a dream.
Bloodborne is arguably an anti-Christian game. The church's gods are really just powerful aliens that turn worshipers into monsters. Those "demons" you kill are created by taking too much healing blood, aka communion. Women that are blessed with divine conception go mad and birth horrible disfigured monstrosities. There are way more anti-Christian themes in the game, these are just the beginning. I don't think you played past Cathedral Ward, OP.
Anyway, go back the Bloodborne Board Game on Kikestarter, I want more stretch goals
It's not anti christian it's just lovecraftian.
Unironically Doom (1,2, maybe 3, 2016)
there are even (somewhat) christian mods made for the original doom
Jow Forums->
>can't even link right
>links Jow Forums instead of /v/
>communion is bad
>divine conception is bad
>the church is bad
>nun is crazy and the whore is good
>church orphanage brainwashes children
>not anti-Christian
It being Lovecraftian does not preclude it from having anti-Christian themes
Medieval 2 Total War
>worshipping a jew
Imagine being this cucked in 1945 + 74.
It’s not a Christian Church though.
The church is based around the healing blood (the alien blood turned people into monsters though)
Did you read the bible?
That shit is hardcore
There’s a part where they tell the good guy to slaughter everyone, even the donkeys
Also God in the bible did the flood, destroyed Babylon (multiculturalism) and Sodom and Gomorrah (gays)
MGQ is best Christian Video Game Out There
DOOM is a cool game
Yes, gods other than God are demons. Now you're getting it.
That seems like projection to me. There is nothing in Bloodborne that suggests any God above, or an alternative, to the Great Ones.
Dante's inferno
You get to descend into hell, avenge your pure aryan chick and slay Satan himself.
Doesnt get more christian than this
wtf I love the Lord now
Doom
>your flag though
did these even have stories?
If you're talking about explicit story like cutscenes and dialog, Myst not so much, and Riven a bit. However, the backstory, lore, and environmental storytelling (especially in Riven and subsequent games) is insanely detailed.
>literally added a cuck subplot for no reason
>How does Bloodborne glorify violence?
Well I haven't played Bloodborne myself, but violence is glorified when it is portrait as something "cool", which can be done with cool looking weapons, enemies, fights, fighting styles, etc. But even if it isn't portrait as something cool, if most content in a game revolves around fighting or killing, then I think it's safe to say that someone who plays it loves violence.
40k
Praise the god emperor
bump
>looking for good Christian games
By virtue of the Lovecraftian concept "cosmicism", Bloodborne is an anti-Christian game, you dumb pieces of shit. I wish I could do a visceral attack on you.
>I wish I could do a visceral attack on you.
Lmao
Necessary violence is different. When God commanded His people to fight or kill, it was either to defend themselves or to eradicate evil. God does not encourage enjoying violence, in fact, he hates those who enjoy it (Psalms 11:5).
imagine being cucked by Satan
Kingdom Come: Deliverance
Christianity itself is a video game since its basically all about suspending disbelief for imaginary prizes.
Its a jap game. They don't care for christ or for the west. The Best Christian game is Doom tho
Dark souls is a literal christ allegory
>in the beginning there is a formless void
>but fire forms and creates the light and the dark and the day and night
>a literal God, Gwyn, shapes the new world with his fire to make an earthly paradise for us all
>humans get to live here
>as the fire fades and faith in gods leaves the world, man slips into sin and excess humanity with no holiness to check himself with before he wrecks himself
>God gives himself to us bodily to save us all from our wretchedness
>he dies for our sins
>the world is restored
>the curse lifted
>another saviour is said to return sometime in the future to save us once again when we are lost once more
>so arrives the chosen undead
>he also is a christ like figure
>lead by an wise experienced holy figure Oscar (John the Baptist)
>he is anointed with a holy liquid the Estus
>he is helped and followed by jolly companions that believe in him while heartedly
>he travels the land to banish demons, heals or rescues the sick and quite literal can come back from the dead
>he is continually persecuted by those that are too deranged and lost to see (read John 1:15)
>He finally reaches the moment of choice as to whether to fall to temptation or sacrifice himself
>he kindled the first flame with his body and soul and the world is cured of its sins, namely excess humanity (aka the Abyss)
>he all have humanity we are born with like original sin and the light of a chosen saviour can redeem us though.
>all through this he is plagued and beset upon by toothy and big nosed serpents with strange decorative bangs sprouting from their temples that keep their motives hidden and are assumed to want the chosen undead to choose the wrong path.
>Violent games
>Christian
You're going to hell for that mate. Don't associate your false doctrines with us you reprobate satanist.
Nowhere in lovecraft mythos is there the remotest resistance mounted against the forces of cosmic evil. Bloodborne has those that are willing and able to overcome great evil.
Well how do you kill demons without using violence?
>start up m&b with fire and sword
>spread glory of catholicism as soldier of the purest nation in the world
>smash swedish protestant scum
>annihilate muscovite/cossack orthodox scum
>exterminate muslim tatar scum
Good times, kebabs really redeemed themsleves with making this one.
Pray for them and walk the lord's path. When you turn the other cheek they'll actually leave you alone because they'll know you're a true believer of Jesus.
Like i said, play Doom
You have never read the bible, gtfo here
Quit ignoring me before I gouge your eyes out fucker
Religion has no place in games or anywhere in fact. Fuckoff.
...
I saw your posts, yes i've played Doom
I play the Moores. Sharia rules the west.
I hope you understand that I'm only trying to advocate the truth. God doesn't want us to partake in things that glorify or promote sin. Sadly, a very large portion of modern entertainment (games, movies, music, etc) does this. Though it shouldn't come as a surprise, given the fact that Satan is the prince of this world. If you're unsure about this, then please ask the Lord to reveal to you how He feels about these things.
I'll think about it
Based
I'm not an edgelord.
There are literally no benevolent or malevolent forces in Lovecraftian mythos. They are all indifferent and point to a bleak atmosphere of nihilism. That's literally what Lovecraft's style was all about.
No he meant it as fighting sin in a person's soul not actually killing people you goof.
If by christian you think on killing demons then there are plenty videogames out there like Dante's Inferno or Doom.
If by christian you mean following a twisted interpretation of any passage of The Bible (protestantism) there are the games mentionede above.
If by christian you really mean The Word of God (the real one, to your understanding) then play a german simulator game.
I wont tell you the real option ; because Bible itself told us that only a few people would enter the realm of God. The number is like 144000 or something like that. Good luck finding your path user and remember that nothing phsyical here will be carried onto the other realm.
Miyazaki despises Christianity, it's a recurrent theme in every fucking Soulsbourne game. Speaking of recurrence, that's half the cosmic joke on people like OP. His emphasis on reincarnation, 'Blood Consciousness', cycles of darkness / rebirth and the Corruption of stagnant Water / Blood / "kegare" all points to a universe that's far more based on Buddhist and Pagan spiritualism. Yharnam's cathedrals are like Japanese shrines in function, Shinto especially.
youtu.be
There's also elements of Western Paganism, like all the Tarot symbolism, Blood + Soil having inherent power and the Nordic themes / Runes. Evola liked comparing Judaism and Christianity to a 'mind virus' that consumed Western paganism, reformatting its traditions and rituals into something familiar yet 'Alien'. That's the whole game in a nutshell, really.
Dungeons and Dragons.
But with a house rule that there's no magic, Thieves can't steal and all Paladins must be Christian.
First trilogy is literally just ripped from the bible.
the number was 144000 male virgins, im not even joking.
Cheers user
Yeah but based and moral humans are there and they are fighting back against the amoral monsters that are killing then and invading their world.
I seemed to miss the book in the Bible where humans meet space aliens on a mechanically built world that turns out to be a super weapon.
There are many Christian themes in souls games. See
What a sad thread
>Christian video games
Lmao
Sorry you cant into allegory friend.
Monopoly
>blood sacrifice
>demonic pigs
>poisoning the blood
The last glorious age of White People (Pthumerians) being led to ruin, the emphasis on Matriarchal bloodlines, the church treating its flock like 'cattle'... Not Christian but definitely redpilled.
Only to further the Nietzchean themes. Gwyn didn't save the world, he twisted and malformed it. His intentions were heavily tinged by fear, pride and egoistic objectivism. This has been dissected endlessly. Every trace of Christian allegory and subtext is countered and subverted in some way. Again, Miyazaki detests Christianity and how it undermines native lands, traditions and people for the worst. There's some genuine Gnosticism in there too but it's heavily dependent on the player becoming his own personal savior or Christ.
That's good to hear. Good luck in your walk with God, brother (Hebrews 12:1-2). I hope we'll meet in New Jerusalem one day.
You too brother
>Yeah but based and moral humans are there and they are fighting back against the amoral monsters that are killing then and invading their world.
Not in Bloodborne. In Bloodborne there is only one person (you) that opposes the Healing Church and its offshoots, and the Great Ones. The game ends with you either accepting a role as a servant of the Church and protector of the Dream or ascending to become one of the eldritch abominations that the Church worships.
Looks at this poor fool, looking for Christianity were there is not, its almost depressing.
As much as christcucks love mining random verses to prove Jesus and the 'real' Israelites were all white, they sure seem to have trouble seeing past literal surface-level symbolism... The leech of Judaism has drained their brains of sense and the fire from their blood.
We've always needed violence to repel foreign tribes. Long before Yaweh told us to start taking it easy on them.
There's also an ongoing them of ritual child sacrifice... You literally carry sacrificed fetuses around with you. The urns, tiny graves and emphasis on archaoeology leads me to believe that Miyazaki knows exactly where the Christian god's roots lie.

The peace of the LORD be with you!
I'm so glad I found back to the Church after my edgy neckbeard phase. Are you Prots or Catholic?
Christians are really delusional.
At least you Polish are still Catholic, it's a shame how the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church is abandoned here even in Catholic Bavaria
Oh sure how it goes that thing with Shiva destroying everything and some other fake god creating it all again?
Perhaps but DS is still following the general narrative mark. Jung would say that's universal and just like what christ went through. And as an allegory it can be seen as from multiple interpretations. Gwyn is christ and his sacrificed saved us from in death but we let him down with too much humanity (dark) and that is why a second coming is needed. Or the chosen undead is christ and gwyn is yahweh who has given us a chance at redemption aplenty and we fucked it up (think moses and the tablets). Or it could be one big subversion of christianity too.
I'm a Protestant
As long as you aren't one of those "Catholic is Anti-Christ" retards...
I assumed you're Catholic since you're using crusade memes lol
Gwyn is responsible for the existence of all the Demons in Lordran by pressuring the Witches of Izalith to make him a second flame because he was so terrified of his Age of Fire ending. That sounds neither Christlike nor Godlike to me. Speaking of which, the fact that Gwyn allied himself with Witches, Necromancers, Seath the Betrayer, and the Furtive Pygmy (with its Dark Soul) is not particularly Christlike either
