Veteran and ex-LEO here. Retired. I can honestly say that women in law enforcement serves a good purpose when not on the beat or in dire situations. They tend to escalate things. They're happy to jump in knee first to slap the cuffs on when the men have taken the guy to ground. They're also very shooty, and mouthy, they have TERRIBLE attitude problems and a chip on their shoulder. Can't comment on combat roles as there weren't women in my line of work in the military back then.
