Ok, so most of these topics aren't regularly touched by NGOs like mine or by Official Missions to be honest, but doing a quick research i personaly think it's something that's up to nation institutions.

The ethical arguments in favor and against are basically "unlimited human progress" vs "playing god is bad".

In the third world countries and emerging countries like Mexico, intervention is a must. But in more developed countries there's a more libertarian approach.
