What would happen if we got rid of all physical currency?
Camden Sanchez
Easton Howard
Beggers would turn into muggers.
Nicholas Hernandez
>can't hide your money
>have to give it to a bank so they can invest it
The Rabbi wins
Justin Davis
lots of farmers dicks going to get sucked.
James Thomas
In a normal society it'd be a retarded idea, but economic collapse would be an improvement at this point
Carter Lee
The usd and eur would collapse in 5 minutes since they would no longer be reserve currencies around the world.
Also socialism would go on steroids as governments could autotax people.
Inflation would get out of control too.
Now if you replace it with cryptos based on artificial scarcity the thing would be different and much better but then again fucked up long term.
Cash is needed for the same reason as crypto is needed , it´s a thing that force governments to self moderate since it allows people to change it for other currencies if they fuck things.
Sure you can tell me you can do that digitally but believe me , it would not take more than 5 years before they simply ban it because every government simply wants more people using their paper shit so they can print it more with less inflationary effects.

people will invent another method of barter. money was invented to simplify and regulate barter.
Oliver Flores
how would inflation get out of control
Jack Butler
>Also socialism would go on steroids as governments could autotax people
>Now if you replace it with cryptos
How is crypto any different?
Bitcoin and it's blockchain technology means every transaction is logged.
Luke Williams
Bitcoin is based on artificial scarcity only 21 million coins will ever exist , they can´t be created from thin air.
The newly created coins are a reward to the miners runing the network and after 4 years that reward is reduced by half causing a price rise.
So now the mine less but the price is also higher because the supply is reduced.
Digital fiat as op asks on the other hand allows government to create fake money and force everyone into it with unlimited supply and no way to escape it as they could simply ban exchanges to let´s say gold or euros.
It would be a totalitarian wet dream but people would find a way to escape it by purchasing as soon as they got their wages causing massive inflation.
Robert Myers
Connor Hernandez
We would come up with a barter system and make physical currency again. In the US towns all across the US had their own currencies up until a central bank (The federal reserve) became a thing (Which is a private industry and not controlled by the federal government). Private companies (like mining companies) had their own company stores and scrip (currency that was worthless anywhere but their specific company stores). They would sell everything at a mark up from where they bought it wholesale and would fuck the miners in their paychecks and the only place they could use their paychecks. It's why the redneck revolt happened.
Gavin Cox
This. They just don't get it.
Camden Garcia
Bartering and conventional trade would become popular again. Particularly among the poor and criminals.
Bentley Allen
>What happens if we get rid of all physical jews
Peace.
Jose Morgan
He said physical, this would imply you still have digital currency.
David Price
This question is stupid and you aren't even Canadian wow. Monetary value is summed up to the retraction of an individuals rights to trade as he pleases. Be this reversed so to does the means to barter
Nigger
Isaac Long
Literally all bit coins are created out of thin air, adding extra the extra step if wasting cpu cycles doesn't change that.
John King
Then the fascist gov would have total control over your money transactions... people would also buy gold, silver, copper and platinum coins en masse to use in the shadow econ for material value purposes.
Cooper Lewis
And concealed carriers would turn them into worm food.
Jason Bailey
KEK my guess would be negative interest rates ... you have to make sure the bank gets a profit right? and its not like you can take any money out
Eli Morales
Well it makes negative interest rates a realistic policy, so financial elites can squeeze the remaining cash from the bottom.
Ryder Wood
military would immediately take over farms
Nicholas Ross
Saved to qt3.14 folder.
Aiden Jackson
Giving up all forms of physical currency would give the average man on the street the desire to look up the private home addresses of government officials, wait at their homes until their families are asleep at night, and murder the whole goddamn family.
Adrian Wood
pic unrelated?
Joseph Nguyen
Be french 30% national front. Based and hung. whole political system put there to block you from taking control of France. Still living it large.
suddenly no money FN, called a fascist evil terrorist organisations. Banks and goverment double team every one who voted, digitaly of course, for FN. All the people get a fat 0 on their accounts. Socialist Idylla happens.
Nathaniel Bell
Sweden did it. Always do the opposite of what sweden says.
Benjamin Torres
Fucking sweden
Grayson Anderson
it would be more efficient to trade around the world.
It would be harder to live off the grid or do shady business without the governments consent. Escaping the financial system for political dissidents would be even harder than it is today. now they cut your credit card and banking services and payment methods if you are an evil alt righter. if everything was digital you would have almost no escape.
Bentley Kelly
You'll experience de-platforming for wrong thinking IRL like...yeah you can have your opinion but...we dont want to do business with a racys
t.mastercard & visa
Elijah Gray
Trash Economy! You use little cubes of trash as currency. Everyone's rich.
Lincoln Reyes
Toal control by the Government of your actions.
China is doing this now. Preventing people they deem not commie enough from getting plane and train tickets etc.
Imagine everything you buy being checked by some turd in a building some where, Oh, you bought a pack of smokes and 50 rounds of .22 cal bullets? We're locking down access to your credit card, please report to station # 9 and explain yourself.
Ian Howard
What happens when you do that and banks decide they dont want you as a customer?
Elijah Flores
Jaxson Diaz
See, Canada want it too.
Checked, Sieg Heil.
Connor White
>Sorry but your mastercard has been declined, you have been added to the federal terrorist watch list meaning we can no longer do business with you.

Money is just a store of value.
Matthew Ramirez
The collapse of the petro dollar is the collapse of everything. There will be no transition.
Robert Cox
For you
Charles Gonzalez
It does because for someone to fake a transaction they would need a supercomputer and years because it´s validated by the network hashing power.
This is why miners use cpu cycles , btc is backed on hashing power and electricity.
In order to fake a transaction you would need both on massive numbers for years.
Digital fiat is not , banks could simply create fake digital usd and shit like that..
Brayden Rodriguez
what kind of retard stuffs their bed with bills when inflation is a thing? How about you invest it instead of the bank? Why does Jow Forums have this retarded aversion to personal finance?
Jace Evans
>21 million coins will ever exist
>21 million coins, each divisible into literally 100 million satoshis, will ever exist

Isaac Cox
>btc is backed on hashing power and electricity
>btc is backed on hashing power and electricity so it can be arbitraged successfully by anyone living near a hydroelectric dam or by state subsidy of electricity and computing
ftfy again
u gotta read the satoshi manuscript again bromeo
Liam Ramirez
but that's murder user, we'll have to ban guns!
Juan Nelson
imagine not dynamiting your local dam
Anthony Sanders
Physical money is like less than 3% of all money so basically it's already gone.
Also nothing is backing the physical nor the virtual money besides the faith that other people accept it.
Since there is no physical limit how much you can print and humans are stupid, hyperinflation of all fiat currencies is inevitable.
Easton Reed
>imagine thinking dynamite would do anything to a modern dam structure given the forces it is designed to withstand
too many black profs at harvard these days we cant educate u no more
shoulda gotten ur degree at the teknion
Alexander Lee
Self defense isn't murder. This isn't me being cheeky, literally be definition.
Julian Robinson
It's a metaphor, Jack. You think I'm going to tell the glowniggers everything?
Hudson Sullivan
China is already experimenting with the idea of social credit.
Jason Clark

We're already getting close to that, honestly.
Blake Hernandez

Jordan Anderson
I'd like to show her my physical currency if you know what I mean.
Benjamin King
You would all die.
Jace Phillips
jews win as always
Robert Rivera
Then every single transfer would be traced by the government. Way to go, goy.
Noah Ortiz
A new one would take it's place.
James Taylor
People would start robbing other people.
Adrian Sanchez
Thank you for the truth britbong, let these anons enjoy their negative interest rates and inflation.
We will meet in a citadel fren.
Andrew Bell
The ability to buy or sell would be regulated. The government would immediately become addicted.to knowing where every last thing is and being able to limit piople they don't like from having stuff.
This 'governance' may be outsourced to the private sector to get around pesky rights.
Christian Adams
666 will be required to exchange goods and services
Justin Baker
>Credit and debit card companies restrict you from buying self defense items.
>Credit and debit card companies restrict you based on your political history.
>Credit and debit card companies are required to report real time transaction with authorities. No reason is needed.
>Credit and debit card companies are required to not do business with you because of a government list.
Oh wait, that is already happening. This is why any cashless society should absolutely scare the shit out of everyone. Left, center or right.
Jonathan Reyes
That is actually easy. Just need a pen, here a 666 just for you
Ryan Brooks
It's happening now because it's not cashless at all. A cashless society becomes a black market society the second they start banning normal people for having unusual opinions. Since we live in a tech world, stuff like bitcoin would explode then. In fact that's all bitcoin is good for: a deterrent to what could happen if you fuck too much with the common Joe
Ryan Thompson
facepalm hard at this teenage naivete
Kevin Long
Share some qts pls.
Jayden Brown
scarcity does not matter if there is no demand. There is only one copy of the drawing of an elephant by my four year old nephew, but no one is ever going to pay a million anythings for it.
bitcoin actually relies on its value against the real currencies. it is only traded because it has a dollar/pound/euro value.
without the real currencies crypto are worthless
Benjamin Green
Bitcoin is a joke really. It is based on the system being in the peoples control. They restrict the internet and your bitcoins are worthless. They restrict the money from being traded and your bitcoins are worthless. Full system failure and your bitcoins are lost forever.
