Here is something fun to do, calculate the time between the issuing of the solution and the surrender of Germany, now divide that by 6 million and realize how fast they needed to kill Jews in order to make the numbers work. Leading people into a ditch and killing them via shooting squad would not work, logistically during a war time, that's a massive waste of manpower and logistics, think about having to dig the fucking ditch first as well. Thus cremation, also because there were never 6 million bodies as evidence.

The Nuremberg trials would have been like getting sentenced to death for murder without even knowing who your victim was.

During the occupation, allies killed almost if not more Norwegians than the occupying forces through their campaign of bombings. Part of my town, almost civilian, was carpet bombed by the British.
