Same shit, different day.
bliss.
I had a pager and could smoke in bars
It was still gay but not pozzed gay.
Well, in George W. Bush's budget proposal from February 2001, he promised to cut the US national debt in half over the course of two presidential terms. He would also use part of the budget surplus to create a fund for Social Security payments. Instead, he doubled it by the time he left office, he never created the Social Security fund, and left America in a much shittier financial position than he had said he would.
the air smelled like the sweetest perfume and all the birds sang a pretty song, the sun always shone but not to much to make you hot, and when it rain it tasted like perrier and you could bottle it for a future date.
It really feels like nothing was the same since. Since 9/11 the dominant feelings have been paranoia, mistrust, fear and hysteria.
Quite different. Some of the changes have been because of the advance of technology, some were direct results of the fallout from 9/11.
the ameriblub were bombing in the balkans instead
good times
We lived in a society. Now its a big yuck mess.
It's the day the New World Order officially began. With a sacrifice.
Sorry bout that senpai
I’m 45 and this is simply not true
very
The advances in technology were first put to malevolent use because of the paranoia of 9/11. If it wasn't 9/11 it would have happened eventually. Computers, digital cameras, and the internet have allowed for surveillance on a level previously not even possible with humans to be done everywhere and done more effectively than ever thought to be possible.
I was in middle school when that was going on and literally didn’t know it was happening. We didn’t talk about it. If that shit happened now, they would never have gotten away with it.
oh wow you youngsters...
you have no idea.
you were bombing their enemies
that's like apologizing to israel
TV and movies were funnier. Video games were good. Lots of good soda. Don't remember much else. Oh yeah, Europe wasn't lost and America was doing a lot better than it was now. Canada was actually a nicer place to live. LOL. Guess it was nice while it lasted.
Honestly, not much.
You could go into the cockpit of a plane and the pilots would give you kids badges/pins. It was pretty lit
this
the Democrats didn't act like Nazis, for one thing
the Democrats declared war on the American people after 9/11
to be honest, before 9/11 the genocide-by-immigration that has taken place was unthinkable
the Democrats weren't the enemy of the American people
high school kids could get summer jobs
these days, the Democrats have a hysterical fit
DON'T TAKE THAT JOB WHITE BOY
THAT JOB IS FOR HECTOR
the Democrats were not filled with genocidal hatred for white American males as they are now
zoomers piss me off
Peak civilization. ... sydney the year 2000... glorious olympics, the great replacement not yet begun.
Its interesting that sydney circa 2000 was the setting for the matrix.... peak civ... and then 911. Neo born
There was no political movement based on mistreating white American men.
The internet wasn't used for much of anything.
American stood for freedom.
These day, America stands for socialism and totalitarianism.
the Democrats weren't proposing gun confiscation at the national level
these day, you get the impression that the Democrats hate the American people and hate the fact that they are free
NATO is committing genocide on white American civilians, and this is ongoing. This all started on 9/11. This was unthinkable before 9/11.
Perspective changes with age. It was probably honked already, but somehow 2001 seems like the tipping point.
The assault weapons ban was in place, but it redpilled many including me and is the main reason the ar15 is the most popular rifle in America.
Also 90% of America was against faggot marriage.
Before 9/11 the police treated me like a terrorist. After they treated the terrorists like terrorists.
This difference hits the hardest every time someone mentions it.
I understand why more and more every day as we descend further into the pissed filled ball pit.
We lost the ability to be innocent.
>they hate us fer our freedum
>proceed to remove our freedom for the muzzies benefit
political figures couldn't just way random shit about 9/11 and some get support
If only you know how great things really were
I had a flying car
You can't get them anymore
Jews ruin everything
I bet a dollar most Americans would have no clue what you're talking about. You're living in a fantasy world if you think the US government has been acting on behalf of the people. They are doing their own thing and keeping the open-air mall citizens in the dark as much as possible.
Every egg was a double yolker. Good times.
Jews were just funny people on TV.
9/11 ruined everything. Fuck you mossad. Fuck you Saudi Arabian terrorists. Fuck you bin laden.
Kids actually used to go trick or treating on Halloween. Like door to door, not just to the mall or whatever
I liked it when you shot that F117 down. Quickly withdrawn from active service shortly after. Ruh roh.
Could smoke and drink in a bar at the same time.
Still can where I live.
we had MS/DOS and only non retarded people could figure out how to use computers. You had to code things to get the games to run sometimes.
The internet was only smart people and pedophiles chatting with us pretending to be hot blonde chicks from our towns.
before 9-11 Canadians actually liked Americans
brainwashed masses weren't led down a path of fearmongering from CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, in fact Fox was mocked because it was legitimate trash and everyone was aware of corporate bullshit. Seems after 9/11 things changed because the media is now brainwashing our masses into a idiotic illusion. Trying to talk to people who consume legacy media is crazy. They are lack so much knowledge of politics.
It was bright.
This
Lockers in train stations and airports
No patriot act
No goyim fighting Israel's battles for them
A general splendidness about everything
Nobody gave a fuck about America.
it was enjoyable and there were two genders.
>like y2k
yeah if anything it united us for a short time until we started on our shit again.
peak bruce
