here's a question for you mr hi iq, most highschool students can solve. I'm 62.5kg accelerating at 53.9meters per second squared, and hit a brick wall after 15.3 seconds. what would be the force of impact?
this is so simple, so I'm calling you out.
Ryder Morris
> if your method to answer it was the same from another person, stop fooling yourself You cannot write a proper English sentence because you were probably too 'LOW-IQ', like 95% of Brazilians.
This is why you are obsessed with posting things about IQ.
You cannot understand that you will always remain a 'LOW-IQ' Brazilian simianoid.
Camden Clark
Substituting "when" for "once", or for "when you will have my age" wouldn't make a dfference if your IQ is less then 110, because if you it was higher than that you'd know that "have" has more than one meaning in english, portuguese, spanish, or whatever ("tiver/tenho/terás/tereis/tiveres/etc."). That's why the "use your head is there".
Also, not a single person until now has got the correct answer with an explanation
If you think my translation is bad heres the original:
"Eu tenho o dobro da idade que tu tinhas quando eu tinha a idade que tu tens. Quando tiveres a minha idade, eu terei 50 anos. Quando tu nasceste, que idade eu tinha?"
I know you don't want to admit it because it hurts your ego, but you're not as smart as you think
Ian Brooks
variable result based on age of person asked
Andrew Richardson
Dimensions of the object? Resistance of air? Or is it water? What is the fluid you're in? What's the gravitational acceleration?
Then again, Im the brainlet here, I just asked a simple logic problem, and that you don't use anything except your mind to solve it, take your time, even tough if your IQ is higher than 140 like the average seems to be around these parts, you should solve it in 5 minutes or less
William Hall
Nobody cared in the IQ test, faggot. Nobody cares in this one. Go ask mommy for asspats because you remembered the answer to a lame word problem.
Faggot.
Ian Kelly
you should be able answer with what is given, no other variable needed. do you need help with the formula?
Isaiah Flores
Well, I guess I won't see any right answers any soon, goodbye
Parker Sanders
Holy shit you're the same Brazilian who scored around the 85 range. You've got the same IQ as Koko the gorilla :DDD
>because if you it was higher You are too 'LOW-IQ' once again and proved yourself to be incapable of writing a proper english sentence.
Ryan Richardson
you can't determine the force without knowing the nature of the collision. This should ask what your kinetic energy is at the moment of contact if it is to be coherent without adding information. Specifying whether you start at rest would also be helpful
you are the brainlet, all those things are either irrelevant or assumed to be zero. Did you ever take a physics class? I doubt even if the problem included resistance from a fluid you'd be able to answer the question since fluid dynamics uses high-level calculus >dimensions of the object lmao
Liam Smith
Niggers
Josiah Wright
I'm 30, you're 40.
Benjamin Cooper
>you can't determine the force without knowing the nature of the collision KE=mv2 sure you can
so far you'e not doing so well do you need help with final velocity?
Jacob Brooks
I'm 62 what the fuck are you talking about i was born before you, gtfo with this stupid shit
Alexander Gutierrez
Not really, 95 to 105 range
And 147 in other test an user posted in the same thread
I still don't see how that's relevant to the question in OP that no one answered correctly so far (not even the 160 iq guy in the other thread could)
Connor Ward
post your score
Connor Parker
You can understand it just fine, I mistyped it thanks to the hour it's now, being a troll won't answer the simple problem I asked
Benjamin Butler
i know you referenced it but we had multiple Brazilians come in pls post from files
Owen Carter
>dimensions of the object
Yup, they didn't teach you this in high school, did they? You only had to memorize a formula an apply it
Jackson Watson
>simple problem I asked its been obfuscated by your shit communication skills
Isaiah Perry
then apply it.
Bentley Watson
>no one answered correctly so far (not even the 160 iq guy in the other thread could Gee i wonder why, its almost like its written in complete word salad.
Op you would have more luck getting people to bite if it wasn't written in tard speak
Brayden King
>that no one answered correctly so far hurr durr 10
Wyatt Diaz
The answer is 0 stop wasting my time with this easy bullshit. Proof that Jow Forums is a low iq board.
If he had double the age you had when you were 0, he would be 0, when you have his age you will also have 50 years.
>you’re twins niggers
Jackson Young
Fuck you people are stupid as shit, it turns out I was right in that other thread, the other user that said the userbase of this board is mostly 15 years old is too probably
My ID there: pxCMcTKp
You didn't explain your answer but at this point I already got what I wanted, finally someone answered it right
Godspeed faggots
Kevin Fisher
I didn't consider your answer right because you said "I" was younger than "you", that's the stupidiest shit I read on the thread
Jacob Anderson
If your acceleration is constant I'm too tired to pull out a calculator to multiply F = ma
Christopher Cox
33.5?
Jackson Harris
10 nigger. The first two sentences present two independent equations, but fuck you for making me do all that in my head.
Gabriel Ortiz
Holy fuck brazilians are the dumbest people on the planet.
Jaxon Walker
Based. I now is 40. Double 20 (you had when i was 30(your current age)
Carter Martin
okay 825m/s is the vf
Ryder Campbell
Why word it like a fucking monkey?
Daniel Peterson
Oh fuck you you beat me to it.
Here’s the proof. (I is Bob and You is Alice in the question.)
In first sentence, Let Bob’s age be 2x and Alice’s age be y. Then 2x - y = y - x => 3x = 2y Second sentence says: 50 - 2x = 2x - y => y = 4x - 50 Solve the system of equations like you’re in grade school and you get x = 20 and y = 30 Back to the first sentence, that means Bob is 40 and Alice is 30. Bob was 10 when Alice was born.
>My age was twice that of yours when I was as old as your currently are >when you are as old as I am now, I will be 50 years old >How old was I when you were 0?
If this is what you meant to put that changes the problem. Because the semantics in the previous version imply that the age you had was 0 at birth, double of which was his age when he was that old. This first sentence doesn’t properly assign variables due to ambiguity. Which leaves the determination in how to interpret the past and present values up to the individual. ASSUMING the answer is in fact 10.
>TL;DR OP is a fag
Cameron Harris
>Because the semantics in the previous version imply that the age you had was 0 at birth *sips tea*
Then when Bob was 30 (Alice's current age) Alice would've been 20, which isn't half.
Samuel White
You are 25 years old. I was born 12 and a half months ago.
Camden White
Your point?
Angel Sanders
I have not read the comments above me as to not spoil me so pls point any mistakes in my answer.
I will be using y as the age of the "I" persone and z as the age of the "you person
and x is the difference between their ages first sentence : y = 2*(z-x) second sentence y=50-x and z = 50-2*x
so we get y=2*(50-2*x-x)=100-6x so we get 50-x=100-6x so we get 50=5x so x=10 so the "I" is 40 year old and the "you" is 30 year old
Hudson Reed
>I have double the age you had when I had the age you have. When Bob was as old as she is now, his age doubled what hers was.
John Hill
Sorry, Gutter, you’re English is shit.
Evan Rivera
I like you explicitly define the age difference as x, but did you actually juggle three variables in your head?
Nicholas Lewis
Are you upset your answer was wrong?
Brody Morales
Not him but wow you're stupid - without knowing the rate of deceleration you can't know what force is being applied to the wall/object.
Grayson Martinez
My age was twice (20)that of yours (10) when I was as old as your currently are (20) when you are as old as I am now (30), I will be 50 years old How old was I (10) when you were 0? 10 is wrong
maybe ask us riddles when you can speak fuckin english
Parker Flores
A ten year gap doesn't work. That would mean when I'm 50, they're 40, making 40 my current age. If I'm 40 now, they're 30. When I was 30 they were half my age, necessitating they be 15, not 20.
Luis Collins
Are you trying to tell us you think 40 = 2*30?
Zachary Anderson
Age you had being a variable, of course your age is 0 at birth (except in some cultures it is 1), the problem is set up in a way that doesn’t limit the value of the age you had as being a constant variable which is then set to 0. And if you take it as a constant variable, then apply the logic, 2(0)=0, checks out, if you were born at the same time, then your and their age being 50 is valid if that’s how old they will be due to identity property since your ages are the same, and if your ages are equal, when you are 0 they are 0.
It’s called abstract thinking, which is a key determinant in IQ, and given ambiguity this model can be applied. without the inclusion of exclusion factors in the problem it is one of the solutions that holds true, due to interpretation.
Robert Campbell
It's 10 and 20 faggot
Carter Foster
>>Yes, the problem is worded as it should, use your head
Hunter Reed
The second sentence is in the future tense not the present you illiterate gutter Arab
Xavier White
No the "me" is CURRENTLY double what "you" WAS so it's 2 x 20 which equals 40.
All this does is exposed noon native English speakers.
Colton Cook
Fucking autocorrect making me look like am idiot.
Brody Ortiz
The first sentence implies that both people presently have age > 0. You can’t talk to someone not born yet, and you can’t talk to someone if you aren’t born yourself. It’s not ambiguous.
Luke Sanders
My age was twice (10)that of yours (0) when I was as old as your currently are (10) when you are as old as I am now (20), I will be 50 years old How old was I (10) when you were 0? 20 and 10 is wrong
Dylan Reyes
The second sentence is (take my current age, as I say this, and call it x) when I'm 50, you'll be x.
Carter Richardson
Incorrect. When I was the age you currently are (call it y), your age was half of y.
Isaac Adams
>When I was 30 they were half my age, WRONG
Joshua Kelly
I DO NOT NEED A NUMBER TO CONFIRM THAT I AM A RETARD. LUCKY FOR ME, I HAVE AN ASSORTMENT OF REAL LIFE FAILURES TO CONFIRM THIS FOR ME.
EAT SHIT.
Luis Scott
Read the problem. A ten year gap doesn't work.
Xavier Bailey
Agree
Josiah Baker
Two proofs are already in this thread. Point out the specific flaw in ie of the proofs then.
Charles Perez
Why do you keep making things up, use the original text, you're only confusing yourself.
>"I HAVE (40) double the age you HAD (20) when I had the age you HAVE (30).
Nolan Rivera
The gap is 12.5. When I'm 50, they'll be 37.5. I'm 37.5 now, making them 25. When I was 25, they were half my age (12.5).
Brianlets bow down.
Gabriel Green
My age was twice (30) that of yours (20) when I was as old as your currently are (30) when you are as old as I am now (40), I will be 50 years old How old was I (10) when you were 0? ???
Blake Jones
>When I was 25, they were half my age (12.5).
That's not what it says.
Robert Collins
Sheeeit, I saw the first "have" as "had" and solved a different problem. Looks like I'm the brianlet.
Dominic Nguyen
Y is equal to their current age, X is your current age => means set equal to When Y=>X, then Y=2C (C is your age at the time) When X=>Y, then B=50 When X=>0, what is D D= the difference in age, So D=C because the difference in age at the time is D= 2C-C=C So when X=>Y, B=50=X+C X=2C, so 50=3C 50/3= 16 years and 8 months
Verification: 33 years and 4 months would be your current age if so, when you add C, add 16 years 8 months you get 50 for the second line If they are 16 years and 8 months older than you, then according to line 1 when they were your age (33 years 4 months) your age would be half that (16 years 8 months) checks out
It’s just setting up a basic inequality between lines 1 and 2, the third line just establishes that they want the difference in ages as the answer
Andrew Hernandez
I don’t think this is solvable without pen and paper. a=2(2b-a) -> a=4/3b 2a-b+a=50+a -> a=(50+2b)/3 From these two equations with 2 unknowns you get a=33.333 b=25 Meaning when a was 25, b was 16.666, which is twice as much as he is now, which is 33.333. His age was 8.333 when he was born. But, you can also fuck off with such “problems”.
Nicholas Parker
15
David Murphy
Now I'm really confused.
Lincoln White
"I have double the age (40) you had (20) when I had the age you have (30). When you have my age (40) I'll have 50 years. When you were born(0), what was my age(10)?" Well fuck
Carson Butler
50/3 or 16 2/3
Jayden Davis
Just check the math, the answer is 16 years 8 months
Alexander Bell
He's not wrong >I [40] have double {2*} the age you (30) had (20) when I [40] had [30] the age you have (30). "When i had 30 years, you had 20. I have 2*20 years, i have 40 years, you have 30"
Ethan Kelly
Zero
Oliver Gomez
For every question out there the answer is Jesus Christ.
Xavier Gray
The only higher IQ answer than this is to simply not answer at all.
Christopher Martin
You’re wrong. You calculated the SUM of their ages, which isn’t the question. The answer is 8 years and 4 months.
Gabriel Allen
Here’s the actual answer and procedure
Jose Miller
The process is oddly formatted because that is how you would solve it in your head by forming those basic inequalities using the set equal function as predicators for the age values relative to one another, I didn’t check the 10 answer before I assumed it was right because OP said it was earlier, and any answer other than 0 would have predicated that the meaning of the problem was actually how I set it up earlier, I didn’t have to verify it. but it turns out I was right, OP is a faggot.
So here you got you fucking retards, not only did I
