It's never implied that Rorschach had anything to do with their deaths, which happened long before he became a vigilante. He would have been about 6 years old when it happened. In the comics, the lesbian superhero was killed by a minor supervillain.

It has its moments. Though obviously pol hates him because he's black, the new Rorschach is actually an interesting character who brings his own thematic pathos to the table and as an intriguing perspective on Dr. Manhattan. Joker is funny, and it's fun to see some of the Watchman characters interact with the DC, like Comedian/Batman and Lex Luthor/Ozymandias.

It can be annoying waiting for it to come out though, because they're always late with the release of new issues.

If you hate that they change a character's race (They don't. He's not Walter Kovacs) or contrive it for "diversity" purposes, I'd get that. But there are in-story reasons that make sense, and he's the son of a character from the original story, who happened to be black.
