Terrence McKenna really was the bard of bards. His lectures are an inspiration and something of a psychedelic journey in themselves.
Don't listen to him expecting to be red-pilled or expecting him to be red-pilled. He was a man of his times and did not indulge in left or right politics but advocated safe, cautious and serious exploration of one's psyche. He was a pioneer psychonaut.
I now scold his views on monogamy and I believe he was too hippy'ish in that sense, but his lectures are a goldmine of self-conscious and humourful exploration into the recesses of the human condition and culture.
I also disawow his phrase 'culture is not your friend' but that has already been established by such prominent researcherd as Rick Doblin from MAPS (Multidisciplinary Assosiation for Psychedelic Studies), meaning that we have to change the culture from the inside instead of rebelling against it, as was the impulse from the 60s.
Just Youtube anything from him, you will not regret it. He really is the bard of bards.
