Its the opposite for me. I have many invasive thoughts where “i want to be a woman”, but playing video games as women can help alleviate that. It eases my mind and I can live a normal life without succumbing to the thoughts.

No combos? Maybe not long ones but they still exist. You can also technically combo if you read DI. Competitive smash isn't about memorizing long button inputs and executing them when necessary. It's about constant mind games, split second decisions and hard reads. It's possibly the most advanced and freeform fighting game there is, since you can get out of (non true) combos if you out read your opponent. Because of the simple controls, it becomes a battle of the minds when control mastery is achieved.

If you're going to tell me that melee is slow you have to be kidding. I agree that smash 4 and ultimate require less skill, because they are slower. I think that one hit taking most of your health bar out would lessen skill required. I also agree that those games are much more stressful due to positioning, but stress and skill are not necessarily the same. Shorter matches tend to make consistency much lower.

I actually do prefer to look at a 10/10 female body over a male for hours, so I pick female characters. Honestly I don't think I ever identified with a videogame character or even a movie/tv character, they aren't real people so how could you?

I play a few mmos as both male and female characters. People are more willing to help a female avatar with leveling, rushing through the main quest, boss farming, gifting in-game currency/decent gear, and have a generally nicer attitude than male avatars get. In addition to that huge leg up, I play females to see how many "ur so butiful mmm sexy" messages I get. It's amazing how often the stereotype is true and it always makes me laugh when they log out in rage as I say I'm a guy.
