Funny enough of the books I am reading at the moment one of them is the Bhagavad Gita. Although to be honest the Gita has become something of a daily reader that I try to go and read little bits of again and the again, same with the New testament.
I recognize that their are large problems with all the Abrahamic faiths but for those who are descendants of Europe it is the only living Tradition we have.
Why throw the baby out with the bathwater? Maybe a new reformulation with different Pagan components. One could even go as far as to borrow from the Vedas and Upanishads from India as they were written by people who share an ancestor with modern day European.
