Is your country's higher education policy retarded too?

>chronic shortage of STEM professionals
>stagnant, low-productivity, low-innovation economy
>existing science schools are in buildings that are falling apart and haven't been renovated since the 70s
>investors gather around to put money into higher education
>purchase plot of land at prime beach front location
>build entire campus from scratch
>state of the art equipment
Guess what they put there? Nuclear physics laboratory? Supercomputers? Nanotech? Chemistry?
No!

>Can you guess the country without reverse image search?
hm, tough one

Russia?

Australia

Are you as angry and butthurt at this as I am?

Spaniards are sciencelets, ha ha!

It's pretty stupid, we have smart people who can do great work on stem fields but they all leave because they can make 3x the salary while working in better conditions by just taking a two hour plane ride. Worse even is how ugly the building is

On the other hand, low economic growth has spared us from most of the immigrant wave, I guess that's why I don't get angry as much.

>business students need ball pit and table tennis facilities
Pathetic. Embarrassing.
I want to die!

lmfao

Ok, see? Now that makes me want to burn it to the ground. Or at least maybe throw some nails into the ball pit

we have a shortage of doctors so we put an NC on medical schools and limit the number of students that get accepted and import our doctors from poland, germany and instead.

+india

No you moron, the only utility business schools serve is acting as places to network at scale. Activities which look retarded like ping pong serve the purpose of facilitating interaction.

yea, they made new economic faculty and I've worked on machinery at uni that was german war reparation

>the only utility business schools serve is acting as places to network at scale
Ah! Nepotism festering facility. Now that makes it ok.

Modernist architecture makes me want to kill myself. Some of it can be comfy or awe inspiring, but only ever by accident. 90% is just like if you made a Walmart but for building stuff instead of general material wares.

If I had to guess probably Germany or one of the Nordics.

Could also be Canada though, you're describing a lot of (most?) Canadian schools.

and then there is lack of doctors in eastern europe, so while you get our doctors we educated, we slowly fall to Afrika tier

Ball pits haven't been up to code in the developed world for years, they're massively unsanitary.

>Germany
>stagnant, low-productivity, low-innovation economy
lol, yeah right

Didn't read that part initially but the Germans are fairly close to post-growth, no? It was my understanding that their whole labor system is organized to accomodate that (protectionism, trade unions, etc). When I think of dynamic and growing economies, I basically think of America and Singapore. Everything else may as well be underwater.

Same for IT and various other Stem fields. On the other hand we have a huge surplus of psychologists, business school fags, lawyers and journalism/german studies.
