It's very likely that regardless of whether is happened, they also filmed footage on ground incase it would fail. That's absolutely given no matter what and it's more than reasonable that they used parts of it during the livecast. That being said, we've been to the more times than once and those voyages were as real as you can get (at least according to the evidence).
So that just leaves the first one being questionable, but npcs (yes, the scientists as well) can't divert from the narrative so we will never know how it all went down. Sad but just how it is.

I think the US went but what wass shown is false. Specifically, the viewers in Australia who got to see a soda can or bottle on the set for a brief moment because the "live feed" came down to Australia and then was transmitted to the US. -Chandayaan (Indian)
- Selene (Japanese)
-Chang'e 2 (Chinese photos never released)
