I don't know if anybody here is familiar with NOTAMs, the warnings that indicate a no-fly zone. But I just saw one unlike any I have ever seen before. It's bizarre. Not sure if any pilot anons can explain this.

We're just moving shit from Ft. Knox its a non happening you faggot.
no idea, could be the re entry path of something? a falling sattelite? very flat trajectory.
have a bump anyway
Link to the NOTAM fren.
You should definitely also map out nice thick and long runways if you catch my drift.
Barksdale AFB. Nuclear bomber base.
I thought about a satellite re-entering orbit.
Skyvector (dot) com
This kind of flight trajectory is impossible on a flat earth model. Just to let you know.
Maybe check your sources.
That point in the pacific is actually where "null" position's originate from on most GPS coordinates.

here is the full text of the TFR, OP
I think the line extending to Africa in your image is an error, based upon the text.
God damnit four chan won't let me post the notam.
tfr.faa.gov
Company is soaringeagleimaging.com
What the fuck are they doing?
What's with the flat, bullseye looking circle? Pic related.
Oh that. Those are common. That is an extended no-fly zone for VVIPs.
I'm sure you can imagine whom.
The path is a "straight" line on the globe from 0°N, 0°W. It's probably just an error, the computer entered (0,0) as the final coordinate by mistake.
Um, no, but I live where that thing is.
UCAV owned by a Merch.
the TFR is a triangle formed by three VORs in the southern US extending up to 40,000 feet. The purpose seems to be to allow a company to do aerial assessments of storm damage.
Um, yes, sweaty.
Says "Emerg Scene"...emergency scene? Some kind of rescue operations? Lost aircraft or ship somewhere along that line.
>Altitude: From the surface up to and including 400 feet AGL
Sounds like some sort of NOE training flight.
Sorry, you're about 200 miles off.
>NOTAMs
OP you seem really interested in aviation. You should check out some videos on youtube, maybe take a course. ATC is an awesome job if you love it enough.
I don’t see that, but the translation is “emergency scenario” aka training.
What are the blue shaded areas
Makes sense.
see
I live where the large bullseye looking circle is. NOLA is the one to the right of it that looks like a 3/4 full circle. Houston is the one to the left that looks like a 1 ball.
*not 40,000 feet, it's up to 400 feet, which makes sense for an UAS/UAV.
Going to 0 lat 0 long
I found further information by looking up that William Paden.
faa.gov
I think it's just some sort of testing.
I think it indicates weather or storms.
Zooming in closer the circles are over Lake Charles. So second verse same as the first.
Somebody get William Paden on the phone and see what the hell is going on.
yeah there are no coordinates in that NOTAM for anything south of the equator.
the other part of the notam looks like it's over a charted high tension power line
this might be a trial at remotely operated powerline inspection
> A. ALL AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS WITHIN THE 10 NMR AREA(S) LISTED ABOVE, KNOWN AS THE INNER CORE(S), ARE PROHIBITED EXCEPT FOR: APPROVED LAW ENFORCEMENT, MILITARY AIRCRAFT DIRECTLY SUPPORTING THE UNITED STATES SECRET SERVICE (USSS) AND THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES,
guess who, faggot

The marines are trying to find crayons again?
Rocket launch? That's almost that arc for a rocket going equatorial, so maybe a communications satellite from Cape Canaveral?
>Zooming in closer the circles are over Lake Charles. So second verse same as the first.
Sorry, this isn't a Ramones song. Second verse is different than the first. New Orleans is 200 miles away. That circle is large enough to encompass everything from just west of Lafayette, LA all the way to Beaumont, TX - with Lake Charles, LA, in the center. Nothing here has anything remotely to do with New Orleans.
>guess who, faggot
NEW ORLEANS - President Trump is expected to visit New Orleans May 14th for a fundraiser.
Why the fuck would he be in Lake Charles 2 days early?
There is nothing here. We have like one tall building and a stupid bridge with decorative railing with caste iron guns because people think pirates once lives here.
There is a massive casino. I can't see the president visiting a casino on Mother's Day.
oh fuck he is here
kplctv.com
and that casino has the best hotel in town, so he probably is here.
No. Rocket launches go straight up. They only cover the area around Cape Canaveral and the ocean beside it.
FYI, these are not live NOTAMs. They will be live in a few days. It appears to cover a larger area than you think because I had to zoom out to get the entirety of the NOTAM in question.
Yeah, he would be staying there probably.
I'm not going to look this thing up again, but just because it's published doesn't mean it's already active (whole point is to warn pilots before the restriction takes effect) or it lasts for a little while before or after the visit as a buffer
the NOTAM describes the airspace, it's effective times, and requirements to enter
Where did you get the picture with the original post?
They are available an Sky Vector.

LA..AIRSPACE LAKE CHARLES,
