I agree that weed is obviously bad, but what do we really gain by making it illegal? Here in Australia, recreational marijuana use is completely illegal, as is growing it in nearly all cases. Yet, by the time I finished high school, I knew of around 30% of the graduating class having tried it and a few people being already addicted. Finding someone to buy from is painfully easy, and it's quite cheap as well. Also consider that by having people who see weed as the one illegal drug that is not that bad and 'no worse than alcohol' go to people who deal in all sorts of worse shit to buy it, you create a system whereby these people are now exposed to far worse drugs. One time I got such a bad trip that it straight up broke reality for me for a few days. I still kind of "flash back" to that one "realization" that I had whenever I experience deja-vu, however, or whenever some time-fucky thing happens (such as a video game lagging and kinda 'hiccuping' for a few seconds). It's like I'm high again for that one split second, but it's terrifying and horrifying.
Basically, for people to claim that psychoactives are a good thing and can do no harm to you is the most bullshit thing I've ever heard. After doing more research, one can clearly see that the substances have different effects on certain people. Stay careful, fellas.
