Entire series has been like that. We just didn't see it underneath all the gay sex. D&D are actually shitlords and the overarching theme of Game of Thrones is that women are weak and incapable of ruling anything. Women have literally ruined all Seven Kingdoms at some point plus the Riverlands and Crownlands.

1. Cersei Lannister. Turns all Seven Kingdoms against her, habitually cruel, raises horrible son, murders her husband, uses citizens as hostages, gets whole family killed, tries to murder rest, etc.
2. Ellaria/Sand Sneks. Murder royal family in order to get Dorne into war it loses, all die horribly. Murdered Prince warned them 87 times that Dorne would lose.
3. Olenna Tyrell. Taken by surprise by own bannermen and entire house wiped out.
4. Dany Dragontits. Has her period during sack of King's Landing and torches whole city.
5. Yara Greyjoy. Gets owned by Uncle Euron. Would have been owned again if magical Dragon didn't take care of things.
6. Lysa Arryn. Murders own husband after cuckolding him, all for a man who doesn't love her. Places Vale in hands of same man who later murders her and will likely murder her son (in the books).
7. Sansa Stark. Forgets to tell Jon about the extra army she had, gets Rickon killed and almost entire army.

(Dis)honorable Mention. Catelyn Stark. Never actually ruled, but still manages to start War of Five Kings despite being completely wrong about Tyrion's guilt.
(Dis)honorable Mention. Selyse Baratheon. Never ruled, but introduces husband to insane fire cult and eventually gets him to burn own daughter alive. Causes mutiny among troops and annihilation of house.

Only part of Seven Kingdoms not ruined by women was the Night's Watch, which is MGTOW.

Good post, only critique is that GRRM is the real shitlord. D&D took a left turn for two seasons and ran with the whole "YASSS QUEEN SLAY" meme until they were forced to return to GRRM's arc for Dany as a tyrannical, mad Targaryan.
D&D are why some feel the Dany arc doesn't make sense, given how they went full retard with all the women for a bit, but it's all there in the books and earlier seasons when the show was still adapting the books.
Dany's arc leading to this makes perfect sense in the books, and earlier seasons.
