I live on the Florida coast. Boats are an absolute fucking meme. 99.9% of the time they just sit on your dock or even worse a dock you have to rent if you don't live on the water, they are always falling apart and need constant maintenance, and you can't actually do anything with them. The only two uses they have are fishing and being part of the most boring parades that nobody gives a shit about. Most of the people who own boats, especially bigger ones, are boomers with nothing better to do with their time or money and just want to show off to other boomers.
