I stand by the idea that one of Trump's ultimate goals with the Trade War with China is simply to push supply chains out of China and diversify their production sources. This has already been happening since labor in China hasn't been cheap for a while now. Trump continues to try and disentangle the American economy and American business from China, which is the right thing to do.
