It's puffed corn in small cookie shapes with some 'chocolate chip cookie' flavoring. I haven't had it since I was a kid but it's the kind of thing kids love, sweet and crunchy with a fun gimmick (it looks like cookies). It probably tastes like shit to an adult like most cereals do. Anyone buying it thinking it is going to taste exactly like cookies, or that it is going to actually be a box of cookies, is mentally fucking deficient (like the other replies you got). A typical cereal isle in America has dozens and dozens of puffed corn products in fanciful shapes designed to appeal to children, and they sell very well.
