Because we have no public spaces, only privately owned social media, forums, parks, malls, and shopping plazas. The arguments for uncontrolled private property rights have reached full circle now that all public spaces are private and vitriolic conservatives are feeling the squeeze as they are slowly silenced in these private-public arenas. Big businesses must be pragmatic and demographics show what sort of political tribes are in ascendancy in terms of population proportion and who actually frequents these ad farms. It's pretty funny, my dude.
