The difference is that we control our borders. Only a very small % of immigrants in this country are refugees, and the large majority of them are likely to be more wealthy and educated than the average canadian. Studies show they tend to vote low tax and are pro law and order, which is more than I can say for the average gibs prone white Canadian.

I'm not even commenting on the percentage of whites. I'm saying Canadian have always had to deal with a huge un-integrated immigrant body. We think of "whites" as being "compatible" now but I 100% promise you that Brock and the Governor general would have traded 80% of the white anglos in upper canada for some British-friendly sikhs happy to fight american anglos during the 1800s.
