My friends, there is a crisis in the north. Not just any crisis, but a crisis which may determine the future of an entire population. For you see, there is a food shortage in Canada. Prices of basic food staples are through the roof right now. People are resorting to eating bugs just to get the bare minimum of protein necessary for survival. Below is an example of just how high some local food prices can go (prices are in USD, not CAD, to make it easier for the reader):
-ONE (1) Single can of Coca-Cola: $5.76 -ONE (1) Single non-King-Sized Snickers Bar: $3.87 -ONE (1) kg of high fat ground beef: $11.23 -ONE (1) kg of boneless chicken breasts: $9.47 -ONE (1) loaf of sliced bread: $8.97
Lately, RCMP has created a new secret division, which is being called "CGDF" by locals. This "CGDF" has been following Canadians around, making sure they do not discuss food prices on any media which can be seen outside of the country. Several locals have disappeared following lengthy CGDF interviews.
To Americans, we are begging you. We know we fucked up with Trudeau, and we are working hard on electing someone else. In the meanwhile, please stop raping us with tariffs. I can barely afford to feed my wife's son. Thank you.
It's raw horseshit. These threads are always posted by the same salty Ex-pat. They cherrypick the prices and yell till someone listens. What people forget is Canada is very big and sometimes it is difficult to get certain items to certain areas certain times of the year.
I'll use gas as an example. In Vancouver right now gas is around 1.70 per liter, But 1500km away in my town it is 1.04 per liter. Also important to note each province has different sales tax. For example a Monster drink at the gas station is about 2-3 dollars i will use 3. In my town it will be 3.15 after tax because 5% gst. Drive for 2 hours east into Saskatchewan that same drink is 3.45 because 5% gst 10%pst.

Here is a screenshot of coke from the local store flyer. I would post in store prices but I'm at work and browsing POL while shitting.
So what you're saying is, the thread is real, the prices are real, but in a couple cherry picked elite parts of Canada they pay slightly less, so therefore the thread is fake? This logic doesn't check out, leafcuck

>by the same salty Ex-pat. you mean the pole, the floridian, and the michigan man

did you hear about the big scoop that dropped yesterday?
That was taken from Ajax Ontario a Toronto suburb. Prices there are retarded because A) people there are stupid enough to pay it and B) its Ontario. They produce nothing and import everything
No most of Canada is sane. Only the far remote north, Vancouver, and Toronto pay big. But nowhere near what OP claims.
The man responsible for these threads, going well over a year now, is a very disturbed and unpleasant looking Polish fellow, who was deported from Canada some time ago.
As you can imagine, his refusal to seek professional help, and his ever deranged anger at Canada for deporting him, has been steadily spiraling out of control for him.

These threads are mostly horseshit, but collapse could very well come and will hit us hard. I invite anons to read John Caseys "Dark Winter" . Here is a link to a short clip about it. m.youtube.com/watch?v=j9c4rv2jz78
I have invested in a high quality vaccum sealer, dehydrator , deoxidizer packets and 55 gallon metal drums. All packing supplies and machines were about $700, the food I store will be good for 20 years and safe from rats.
in most of those threads i've noticed, that the US meat looks ugly as shit and looks like it's full of chemicals, while the canadian meat looks pretty normal

it's all true and any leaf who says it's not is a fucking RCMP agent.

Prices aren’t like that in Alberta, but it would bring a smile to my face if the Eastern bastards payed that much
