I mean let's face it, these mass shootings have gotten way out of hand. There may have been a time in our nation's history when civilians needed to own assault rifles, but... there aren't any British or Native Americans attacking us today. On top of that, the founding fathers never said anything about assault rifles which really speaks volumes.
It won't be easy to follow the path of Australia or the UK but it needs to be done because it is the right thing to do. Kids should not have to be afraid of going to school because they think they will get shot. It needs to stop now.

The Bill of Rights is absolute. We need better judges to correct the idiots of our past. There is nothing uncertain about the terms of the amendment. The whole point of the Bill of Rights is to limit our government's control over the people. It was worded in a way that the common man could understand. No judge is needed to define it. We all already know exactly what is says. There are no if, ands, or buts about it.
