Or are they just preferences that one is free to ignore if they so desire? a moral system requires a metaphysical foundation. Rand fails to even begin to offer a foundation. Its just darwinism elevated to human interaction. And just as there is no moral condemnation for the lion that kills the zebra, there is no meaningful standard to apply to humans aside from "I like/don't like this."
