The exact details aren't clear, but they will definitely not be allowed to buy automatics anymore (unlike in the past where you could if you got a special license), probably magazine restrictions, definitely registration for all new guns sold, probably an end to private sales, and I'm not sure if they'll be forced to register existing guns since back in 2008 when they put in new registration laws they exempted all guns sold prior to that date.
