There's always hope user. But for Russia it came after years and years of soul-crushing societal problems before people were fed up enough to go trad in mass again, that will probably be the case for many other countries as well.

Hope that's not a baptism.

> for Russia it came after years and years of soul-crushing societal problems
do you think this will be the case for western societies aswell?

Much of these so called "Christians" can't be considered real, as "being religious" in their understanding is just going to churches on religious holidays, while not maintaining any proper "behavior" rest of the time. This is a common situation in post-soviet states.

post-soviet states such as poland are some of the most religious nations in the world though

No, I meam THE orthodox post-soviet states (Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova)

Dude you can see in that pic the girl has fake lips. Trad my ass.

theres many very many post-soviet countries that are highly religious though. orthodox ones too

No, you don't understand what I trying to say. The 4 states I listed were parts of USSR itself. With Russian Orthodox Church being the biggest religious institution there. People around here say they are Christians, because it's is considered trendy and gives you some sort of "moral superiority" over the others. As fun fact, modern Russian Church was created in 1943 by direct order from Stalinb and was run by the secret police ever since.

it is official statistics

>people around here say they are Christians, because it's is considered trendy and gives you some sort of "moral superiority" over the others
are you coping or are you genuinely retarded, mate?

Both

kek

What I was just trying to say, is that this static has no real value, because identifying as Christian and being one are two different things

>identifying as Christian and being one are two different things
how?
we have a word for people who are atheists but appreciate christian traditions, they are called "cultrual christians". But if you identify as a Christian then you recognize Christianity as your faith and Jesus as the son of God

>suicides and depression rates declining
>russia is currently #1 by male suicide rates

suuuure is my response to everyone

Good for them

Impressive. That’s a huge change in a relatively small period of time.

>Unaffiliated
Are those numbers real?
I thought most Russians were always Christian orthodox.

yes but its dropping, almost as fast as Christianity is growing.
Coincidence? Nope.
Your life gets meaningless when you lack God.

God bless the Orthodox Church and God bless Vladimir Putin.

Soviet Russia was atheist as fuck
