as an aside, according to US gov estimates, the amount of spending on US healthcare is currently $3.6 trillion and will increase to $6 trillion by 2027. our company and many others are gearing up to soak up as much of that $ as possible, and many are going into designing care for fat fucks

The diversity hires tend to get the less important roles, so they can’t really fuck up too badly. The smart guys do the majority of the important stuff. the women I’ve notice with the exception of a few tend to end up more like project managers or QA/ testing, and don’t seem to involved in actual software development. There is literally 0 women doing sysadmin work.
