For several decades there was a political consensus in favour of high immigration and multiculturalism. While labor are fully committed to those things, at least there is significant pushback in the Coalition against those ideas these days. I don't expect them to do anything radical to be honest, but there is a greater chance of it happening.

Reminder that if you think immigrants and refugees are the real problem in Australia you've already admitted that the country is lost.
