How do we stop this company? They're aggressive with their business tactics and are a monopoly in literally every sense of the word, yet politicians like goynald still allow them to operate. I've seen many stores and places that I used to enjoy going to in my area get sold off because of these fucking kikes, and the ceo is likely going to become the world's first trillionaire at this rate if it keeps going (which it probably will at this point)
I feel like they will get broken up eventually, but it's going to take something huge, like the death of the ceo or something.
>It's simple. We kill the bezman Nope. Not how corporations work. Two kill azn, you need two things. First a revolution in import replacement, at a city level. Then you simply show how the sausage is made. I recommend "cities and the wealth of nations" by Jane Jacobs.
If you REALLY want to stop them at any cost, you need to shill for Elizabeth Warren, because she wants to break this company into pieces. But if you don't care about long run, if you think in memes terms "olololo high cheek bones, gufus, DNA native royalty, got loyalty" then of course, meme to the end of days untill Bezos himself becomes the president or his son, or his puppet. Something tells me you love memes more than your future.
why do conservashits hate capitalism? if it werent for women and niggers buying useless shit, the economy would collapse.
Jack Gomez
Is it really a monopoly if you’re a happy customer? They have more than fair prices, act as much like a digital marketplace as anything, Amazon Basics are generally of good quality, and nothing’s stopping anyone from getting their shit somewhere else.
ironically what is going to save Amazon is the fact that they don't have the best prices all the time people are paying for prime for the convenience of the shipping
Stop buying their crap. Get other people to stop buying their crap, too. Problem solved.
Eli Barnes
amazon as a company doesn't pay taxes.
Benjamin Williams
You just persuade people to trade a marginal increment in convenience for the greater goodhahah
Jeremiah Fisher
I don't want to stop that company. I buy everything from there, it's awesome. I don't have to leave my house to get fuck all, and that suits me just fine.
Alexander Evans
just bought a sex toy from there
Xavier Reyes
brainwashed faggots
Brandon Martinez
if you're going to use it at least support a nice charity with smile
>How do we stop this company? Outside of waking up the average thot and normie that use amazon non stop (which ain't gonna happen) the only way would be to uncuck the govt.
Amazon is only profitable because of it's deal with the US post office (obviously I'm only talking about burgerland, idk how they operate in EU). Citigroup estimated each amazon package was subsidized by roughly $1.46.
If we had a president and congress with any testicular fortitude they would not only end the mail fraud subsidy, but they would break up amazon.
Don't hold your breath. Our other problem is even people I know that hate bezos, amazon as a company, and the wapo still buy shit off amazon. There is no mass boycott happening anytime soon.
Aaron Gonzalez
accelerism is the ONLY answer GM to Google -> 10th of workforce triple the market value Let Amazon automate everything away and make Bezos the first trillionaire mass dead drops of homeless/hungry is the only solution the suffering is not high enough if you can still live in a tent
Christian Ortiz
Remember when Rockefellers Standard got broken up? He made more money after it was broken up than he ever did when he had a monopoly.
Leo Cook
>and are a monopoly in literally every sense of the word
There are literally thousands of online retailers out there to choose from. Amazon often isn't even the cheapest, but many people choose to shop their for the convenience, fast shipping, and god-tier customer service. But that doesn't make them a monopoly, just very good at what they do.
Never mind how many small and medium businesses sell on Amazon marketplace.
Easton Parker
A monopoly on middleman-ing (and hardly, they have plentiful competitors); so what?
They aren't making the goods, they just make them more available in one place.
That and Bezos is going to be building space infrastructure.
Jonathan Young
Abuse the return policy by ordering one dollar prime items and returning them. It costs them about $15 worth of labor and shipping to profess a return ;)
Aaron Perez
>and the ceo is likely going to become the world's first trillionaire at this rate if it keeps going
Also no He'll be the world's first public trillionaire The world's real richest aren't on a fucking forbes list
Connor King
>no longer offers 20% vidya discounts for Prime users >constantly misses release day delivery despite this being a complimentary service before Prime even existed I'll be buying Mario Maker 2 and all future games on Best Buy's site. Never paid for Prime anyway, just mooched off my brother's account. Pathetic how bad it's getting, even going as far as to have "PRIME (4-day delivery) like nigger, that's not even a special service. I sell shit on eBay and I'd actually have to go out of my way to get a package to anyone in the US in over 4 days. I just sent something from Florida to Alaska and it took three days standard first class.
Not the only monopoly. Att n Disney are some examples.
Ayden Martinez
Government is suppose to break up monopolies. Capitalism can't survive with them.
Christopher Murphy
Sorry, homeboy. I like Amazon. Long live King Bezos.
Kevin Lopez
>Faggots in this thread >J-j-just stop buying there Sorry bud, you're 50 buck a month purchase on Amazon is a mere drop in the ocean compared to their international supply chain and millions upon millions of consumers, not just in the consumer market but in business.
Oh no, something actually takes action for once, but let me just sit here with my smug sense of self-superiourity by not buying from Amazon and acting like they give a shit
Simple: stop the artificially low interest rates and the free money fed fiat Ponzi. Amazon went years without posting a profit, gobbling up more and more money from investors all while putting countless profitable companies out of business. In a world where freshly printed money wasn't so readily available, investors would care about profits, and not just revenue growth and monopoly moat building at the expense of everything and everyone else.
>Is it really a monopoly The whole reason they have good prices right now is cause they are fucking over all the other stores like Radio Shack and Carson's. They can lower the price of a specific line of products well below the competitors, because they know they already dominate the book and golf market, which racks in a lot of revenue. They can lose some money in the original line of product because of this because of this. Classic monopoly move. Rockefeller was famous for doing tactics like this. Read what Bezos said to early investors about "The money coming soon" Once the competitors are gone, the prices are gonna sky-rocket
William Hill
based and redpilled
Benjamin Barnes
It's almost as if... Amazon is great for consumers (how many monopolies can make that claim) and people willingly spend their money there for a reason.
Joshua Smith
Stop subsidizing them, the us postal service delivers at a loss for them. Billions of dollars into bezos pocket from the tax payer. Take it away and they crumble.
Lucas Watson
It's 2 days not 4, what kind of backwater do you live in?
Matthew Sanders
Current antitrust laws can bust them up like they did with Ma Bell. The problem is that the boomers in power don't understand the power these tech companies wield. Remember the Zuckerberg hearings and how out of touch these congresscritters were when it came to facebook's operations?
Jaxon Gomez
Only reason i use amazon is their god tier customer service. Literally got hundreds of dollars refunded and hundreds in credit making shit up about products that i “dont” like or was “damaged”
Genuinely just exploiting their service
Austin Jenkins
>A massive retail monopoly is not a problem >shady business practices are a-okay >Non-competitve business practices are cool to Americans are fucking retards, no wonder we succumbed to ZOG so easily. We can be fooled by shiny trinkets and baubles.
Angel James
Most Prime is 2 days, but starting last year they started to put the Prime logo on packages that take 4 days too, when it was usually reserved for only 2 days. They're falsely advertising it as some sort of benefit when it's not.
Benjamin Turner
I'm having a hard time understanding why people hate Amazon. It's not like they parade faggots in every location. They did literally nothing wrong and lost to AOC
pretty much this. people like to bitch about all the chinese shit at walmart, either quit buying walmarts chinese shit or quit patronizing walmart
Bentley Anderson
that's capitalism baby
if you don't like it then fucking leave commie fuck
Eli Lee
We don't stop companies. Leave the free market alone, commie scum.
Joshua Bailey
fuck off commie
Asher Martin
You're a moron. Show me proof that Standard Oil engaged in predatory pricing. The reason they were so much cheaper than their competitors is because they innovated and did stuff that allowed them to significantly cut production costs. One example is vertical integration. Another is that they invested in R&D to find uses for and market the "useless" byproducts of kerosene distillation that other manufacturers were just throwing away. Gasoline is one of many of these byproducts that Standard Oil figured a way to market and sell when other refineries were literally just dumping it into rivers.
With respect to Amazon, they're rarely even the cheapest seller on their own site, marketplace sellers are often cheaper.
Elijah Davis
Break it up under anti-trust laws or nationalize it
>A symbol of a circle within a square within a triangle within a larger circle began to be used in the 17th century to represent alchemy and the philosopher's stone, which is the ultimate goal of alchemy. They changed it up a bit. Putting a circle in a triangle that's inside a square.
Colton Rodriguez
AMZN is for all practical purposes a government entity. Yes there is a stock so yes there is an illusion of private enterprise, but in reality it is difficult to know where cia ends and amazon begins.
the only way to effectively break up this enterprise and Facebook and google is to elect a president that has the courage and the patriotism to Drain the Swamp. many voted for Trump believing his now proven lies, so he wasn't that man. requires arrests of criminal congressmen, senators, IC, and select elites that have conspired against the American people and America's economy. the US does not have a free market. the economies winners and losers are chosen by the economic elite through their captive "elected" officials.
Jacob Gutierrez
Never mind how stupid and illogical the idea of predatory pricing is. As soon as you drive your competitors out of the market and jack up prices, you've now created significant market pressure for new competitors to enter the market, undercut you, and steal your market share. OK fine, so let's sell at below cost again to drive these new competitors out. Now raise them again and new competitors show up yet again. Repeat ad infinitum. You'd basically need to engage in predatory pricing perpetually to keep competitors out, which obviously isn't realistic.
And read up on what HH Dow did when a German bromine cartel tried to engage in predatory pricing to force Dow Chemical out of the US market. He just bought their below cost bromine from them and resold it at a profit. But please, tell me more about how predatory pricing is a viable monopolistic strategy in the long term.
Kevin Kelly
Does Amazon keeps tabs on all of the right wing literature I've been purchasing from them? Are they sharing this information with other parties?
Noah Howard
Srs answer? Yang Gang 2020. Let Amazon be successful, but share their progress with the rest of the American people.
Ryan Moore
yea and watch the entire company immediately leave for the next economically free country
Ethan Brown
Why should the State step in to stifle success? >I've seen many stores and places that I used to enjoy going to in my area What is the advantage of a local brick and mortar retail over buying online? Something that provides a service like an LGS, yes strong LGSs are important.
