Maybe it varies from one archdiocese to the next, but every mass I've been to, all the liturgical music is crying about sin.

Anyway, Jesus isn't God, he's the son of God. If you think he's God, then you are saying God can be tempted, which Jesus was. God can't be tempted by evil. Saying so is blasphemy. Jesus even rebuked those that accused him of saying he was God John 10:31-36
