>boomers care about their wor-

A lot of loyalty for a hired gun

Do you mean quitting without notice? I have done that with jobs I didn't care about actually putting on my resume. It has worked well for me.

>Be Employer
>Set stupidly high requirements for entry level position at minimum wage
>Ghost most of people you interviewed
>Require two week notice before quitting
>Able to fire you whenever for no reason because of the “Right to Work” law

Fuck employers.

Attached: DD7819B2-AAE9-44F1-9909-43E43E1F9351.jpg (1024x768, 121K)

>washington compost
It's BS. Same way they pretend that they've got millions and millions of jobs opened.

Attached: ghosted.jpg (872x1001, 83K)

>employers demand 5000 things to hire you
>treat you like shit, pay like shit, skimp on benefits
>uhhh hur dur millennials don't care about their jobs

good, a lot of employers are stupid faggots who don't give a shit about their employees. This wouldn't be a problem if workers were treated well

Fuck employers, why should we treat them with respect, when they dont treat us with respect? Why give "two weeks notice" when they will fire us on the spot? I gave my work 1.5 months notice that I wanted to take off for my friend's wedding. My boss approved it, and then decided the day before that actually I needed to work. If I didnt show up to work that day, he implied he would fire me, and hire someone else because plenty of people want my job. In that type of work environment why should I have any type of respect, any loyalty at all?? Even if I went to HR what are they going to do? Give me my day off, and then he fires me anyway because at will employment?

Anyone who’s actually applied for a job knows that employers are the biggest ghosters on earth

or perhaps the millenial is wondering why boomer won't pay him proper wages

Me too user, just ghosted shitty dead end factory job making street sweeper brushes.

At least you can talk. Who are you?

Hell I have done it on a professional level. I was laid off from a great paying job and I "ghosted" 2 different jobs before I found my dream job.

I refuse to be loyal to any business or organization. I will give you my labor in exchange for compensation for an undetermined amount of time.

This is the best bane post I’ve ever seen, this movie is 7 years old, thank you for keeping the meme alive user.

>This whole thread
That is why I like hanging around with you guys.

and most of you virgins will never have a good job. you feel entitled to the job just because you interviewed... if you were worth the time to call back. they would have... so for the rest of your lives whenever an employer doesn't call you back... remember that its because your not worth the 30 seconds it takes to be told you did not get the job

Be a cunt to the workforce and they will be cunts right back.

this is the most boomer thing i have ever read and ive been on this site for over 10 years JESUS CHRIST

Attached: jesus christ.jpg (202x250, 8K)

What was the final result in your lust for employment??

>company posts 20 job ads
>hires 3-5 new people per quarter
>re-posts the same 20 ads next quarter
wow guys we just added 40 new jobs to the economy

>implying anyone should care about their jew overlord " bosses "

this guy has job hunted

this is minimum wage here btw

>Employers want you to basically have 15 years of experience for the "entry level position".
>Employers also demand you be able to do an assortment of things.
>Get job, you essentially do jack shit and don't need anything they listed.

>job
>working
>2019

Let us all take a moment of silence for our Wagecuck brethren who have yet to find the light

>Even if I went to HR what are they going to do?
Fuck you over because HR exists to protect management.

>implying the secret isnt to simply bullshit your resumes, get interviews, and get fired multiple times until you get hired at a company that can't see through your lies

Attached: 1558130763588.jpg (713x475, 67K)

This happened at my last job. People were scheduled to come in and work and they just wouldn't. No calls, no notice, no nothing.

Oh good. Time for the weekly posting of this already?

Did this when I had to juggle work at Home Depot and school at the same time. Two women managers that were completely incompetent and demanded impossible tasks given how understaffed we always were. One day I decided to just walked out when in the middle of my lunch break without notice. Fuck that spic infested place.

It's like when teachers said we would actually need cursive writing when we grow up

I was doing that before millennials were born. /thread

youtu.be/TCbFEgFajGU

What? I'm supposed to enjoy and say thanks for taking it up the ass now?

I set up a google voice account and now I am my own reference.

shit employers dont get a notice from me

Didn't it feel fantastic when you walked out user?

Exactly that too. Someone told me to go to HR and I thought that was retarded, who are they going to side with: him or me? And after going to HR, that's it. Either he or I has to go, we couldnt coexist after that

Most people want a job and get it over with including "millennials". No, they're not landing jobs and bahhh fuck it, I'll land another interview at good paying job and hmmm should I bail on that one too???

Not sure what you're whining about now, but you'e literally getting hot and heavy over what .5% of population?

Some places just post jobs when they don't actually have openings just for the sake of having a pool of applicants to pull through at their leisure. They don't care that they're wasting people's time. They don't care that people applying actually need work and just made them waste 20 mins filling out an application that won't even be looked at.

High School is the biggest scam there is, in that regards.
>Why do I need to know Calculus? When will I use this in my every day life?
>You just will!

Treat your employees like shit and that's what happens.

I've ghosted almost every job I had. Just stopped showing up to work. And the only time I ever bothered to give a weeks notice to, they said I have to give them 2 weeks. Have to?! I don't owe you shit. Didn't even give them a day after hearing that shit.

I work for myself now. Have to deal with a little more paperwork and shit, but having the freedom to take a few days off because I'm tired or sick without having to constantly worry about being fired, and without having to put up with power-tripping managers is so worth it.

How are you neet living in America?

>will fire you at a moment's notice
>expect you to notify them weeks ahead of quitting
Classic honk

Attached: 1541506661173.png (757x615, 184K)

I wish I could "ghost" employers but I do contract work and actually need to network and maintain a good reputation otherwise I'll get no fucking work. Wish I had the balls to take a risk and start my own business but the idea of failing and blowing not only a shitload of startup capital but also time I could have spent working for guaranteed income makes me never start.

Good, fuck these degenerate kike loving boomers, I hope they all lose all their money and die penniless.

afaik permanent disability is the golden ticket here

I do that all the time.

I get payed extra days sometimes weeks without showing up

the bigger the company the better this works

but only do it to leftist companies

What do you do for work now that you’re jobless?

>not using calc 2 to optimize your macros for maximum gains

this is why you suck at life wagie, in middle school I was already optimizing my bowel movements with excel

I'm actually glad Zoomers or w/e are doing this.
Fuck """employers""" they're all cunts anyway.
For the record I run my own business, with me as the single employee, so I don't give a fuck that some min wage car wash or grocery store has their employees ghosting

>I work for myself now. Have to deal with a little more paperwork and shit, but having the freedom to take a few days off because I'm tired or sick without having to constantly worry about being fired, and without having to put up with power-tripping managers is so worth it.
How do you do it user, please tell me.

i've ghosted two employers in the past 6 months
>get job
>get trained for a few weeks or months in software related to the job
>put new software plus experience on resume
>now employers will hire me for better paying job
>ghost employer as soon as they finish training
>constantly looking/interviewing for better paying jobs
>haven't actually done any work in a few months and these retards keep paying to train me
FUCK EMPLOYERS

Attached: 1511873435942.jpg (1200x999, 941K)

this has happened to me a few times already.

A fucking dear jon letter is appreciated.
happend to me with one of those usajobs.gov
another sent me one 6 months later

and the worst was with the city. a city with 700k people cant fucking tell you to fuck off after 2 interviews

democracy dies in darkness. so fucking cringe. what is that some harry potter quote shit?

lol

I actually don't mind my job at all, actually. Good pay, easy work.

Advanced math classes are needed to separate morons like you from people who actually have functioning brains. Durrr Y I need maff I has calculator! Fucking brainlets, keep failing and blaming others.

Get a load of this kike boomer

My brother worked as a truck driver and gave his two weeks when he found a better job out of state. He just needed his last paycheck to cover the last few expenses without cutting things too close. They fired him on the spot citing company policy.

>gotta be a flexible people person with no life and a car who can also lift 40 pounds
>get to actual job
>barista
rofl

Right on.

I do the same thing for friends, I even have a few domains that have hastily scrabbled websites that look like real companies. I use them to send/receive emails. I actually considered offering it as a service at one point and i'm sure theres people out there that do offer such things.

I've gotten friends 6 figure jobs through bullshit that they managed to keep. Its amazing how fast you will learn things when you have something good going for yourself.

I also have met people that are much more skilled than said individuals who work dead end jobs in the same industry because,

>"comfort"

Feels bad man.

Nothing beats having an in through a friend or family though. As far as getting jobs.

Attached: 1557417418300.jpg (640x613, 31K)

wrrubicon please fuck off

They get ghosted because they don't reward good performance and they've turned every job into a dead end.

Attached: 1.png (619x645, 371K)

this is partly why employers want you to have experience instead of training people. training people is a cost and there is no guarantee that they will get break even or make a profit on that cost.
i don't you blame you, i've one it too. you have to game the system because all managers are cunts who only are out for themselves, so why wouldn't yo be out for yourself?

Then you know what to do.
Start looking for some other job. There is no need to work at such a toxic environment. Or maybe you could change your department or team under a different boss. This is all assuming you are not a wagie with minimum wage.

That's bullshit. Plenty of jobs are filled strictly through nepotism.

Shall we talk about online assessments ? Man, that shit should be outlawed

based and redpilled

High requirements are just kike businesses to get h1b visas

I flip stuff online, drive for Lyft and Uber, deliver packages for Amazon Flex, and occasionally work on friends' cars and computers (and people who they recommended me to).

Amazon Flex is what I do mainly. My car gets awesome gas mileage, is very resilient (Toyota Camry), and cheap to maintain especially because I do the labor myself. All told I do about 10 3-hour blocks a week, 30 hours (that's the cap in my area), and make $600-700 per week.

Occasionally I'll do the rideshares if I need extra money. Usually about 10 hours a week and make roughly $150.

My flipping business isn't huge but it draws in roughly $100 a week with very little time invested. I'm slowly building it up as well as looking into establishing other sources of passive income.

And fixing cars and computers, I get 4-5 jobs a months. It's usually small stuff so I draw in about $150-250 per month from that.

All in all I'm making on average $3000 a month. Sometimes more or less if I decide to take days off. I could make $4000 probably if I pushed myself but I value having a lot of free time.

Also I keep track of ALL of my expenses with an easy to use tax app, which also tracks my mileage with GPS, and since I can deduct $.58 per mile according to the IRS (even though I don't spend anywhere near that much in reality) I'm paying A LOT less in taxes than you might expect.

But I passed Calc 2 with an A. I'm just using it is an example, m8.

80 20 principle, top performers get burned out because they carry the load with no benefit

I have firsthand knowledge of who you know being more important than what you know on more than one occasion.

I use calculus every day at my job and at home.

Cursive was pushed to develop fine motor skills in the hands. It wasn't just to write "cute".

Pretty much everybody I know has just straight up quit a shitty job, it's not just a millennial thing.

Why do you care about references from a job you had for a month and where you constantly fought with your drunken retard boss?

trading crypto while living in his moms basement im sure

> Get a job with Freedom Mortgage
> Get trained for two weeks to essentially enter information into a computer for mortgage brokers
> Trainers mention that we are being hired for bitch work and if the mortgage brokers harass or make fun of you that you should just sit there and take it because they make the company money.
> First day of real work this broker starts roasting this black guy.
>Black guy at lunch basically says the broker shouldn't have said that stuff.
>Three days later the broker goes missing.
>Black guy here's the guy is missing and looks at me and says
>guess he should have been nicer...

Always makes me kek when I read employers huge expectations, they really believe they are giving a fantastic life opportunity to the future wagecuck which in turn must dedicate his life in total gratitude to them.

I don't ghost my employers. I am a dishwasher and a cashier and I do it with pure efficiency. I love my job even if it's shitty or something you would call a poor / slave job. :) I'm just happy I could provide for myself.

Why have loyality to Corporations when they routinely pay out low wages, no benefits and ship once Unionized positions overseas to China so Americans here can make 11 dollars an hour working in Walmart? what about the facts that a majority of new job creations are in fields which pay under 30k a year?
With ghosting Employers i have done it on many occasions such as intentionally calling out when i did not want to work, doing as lazy of a Job as possible when i knew i was gonna quit, ignore any phone calls and put in my notice as they continued to put me for more and more hours (at shit wages).

it really shouldn't, every time a position has online assessments beforehand I get bumped straight to the interview with the manager, get's that's what I get for being able to speak fluent english in monkey country

autism is a spectrum, user. be nice.

Remember to just lift yourself up by your bootstraps and give him a firm handshake and look him in the eyes. If you don't like your job then just quit and find a new one!

Employers are sometimes fucking worthless assholes that treat people like disposable objects. This ghosting of employers needs to be done more often. It amazes me how afraid some people are with regard to standing up for themselves. This includes me.

>wages are low because boomers just hire illegal spics and pajeets to do all the grunt work
>people have had enough and just waltz out on bad jobs
>employers are bitching that people wont break their backs over a non livable wage
National socialism when?

Attached: 1558154441816m.jpg (1024x709, 102K)

>what about the facts that a majority of new job creations are in fields which pay under 30k a year?
...but the economy is doing so well!
>Nigga, please. It blows!

If you don’t have to put them on your resume, it doesn’t matter. You should never do that to a small business that has treated you fairly though

(((Leibowitz)))
Why am I not fucking surprised.

places that used to do things right are changing to nepotism too. i got one job based on technical skills and lost it based on not sucking up to the new managers

I'm in sales and make 100-150k. It's a fairly toxic environment and I dont want to do it forever, but not having to worry about a budget at all is nice. My only point to not make this into a diary is that, even in a "real" job, when employers can threaten you with termination whenever they feel like farting, why have any loyalty at all? This is my first "real" job and I started out thinking of it as my extended family almost, you know? But such things are so demoralizing, and if I deal with it while making good money, what horrible conditions are poorer people suffering under?

Hey user nice resume...could you come to our website and just type it out all over again?

Attached: maxresdefault (1).jpg (1280x720, 69K)

I was laid off recently. Do you know how I found out?

I was sitting at my desk working and I felt a tap on my shoulder. It was two security guards and I was told to stand up and move away from my desk. I was then told I no longer worked there and was escorted out of the building without being given the opportunity to gather my belongings, which I received in the mail a week later.

Tell me again about my obligations to these employers with regard to notice. Asshole.

A few months ago I had the same business idea than you. Godspeed if you can make it real. I came to the conclusion that I wouldn't trust any online service of that sort because the risks are too high if you don't control anything.

Could you tell us more about your setup ? I was thinking about doing that for myself. Like, do you create the website from scratch ?

Wtf man if theres a war just bring it. Tired of useless trump doing patty cake with his advisers

This depends. Do NOT quit without notice on any important job for any reason.

If it’s a bullshit job? Ya you can get away with it.

boomer? nah... im 35 and made 175k last year, married, wife makes 100k, we built a 500k house and each drive 2018 50k audi's and i have a porsche in the garage...

... i enjoy life by having nice things... and FYI, im the prick who didn't call you because your not worth the 30 seconds to tell you that your the worst interview ive ever had.
