I know little about UK politics

I know little about UK politics
What is the difference between the UKIP and the Brexit party? Do they share the same political views? Why did the split happen?

>Why did the split happen?
Because the UKIP has been taken over by morons with bad optics after Nigel left. The Brexit party has normie appeal and can make Brexit happen for real. While the UKIP is a pointless LARP at this point.

I understand
I remember a while ago some threads claiming that Sargon was a liability and was ruining the UKIP
At least they managed to create another party

Eh. I think UKIP is purposely doing what they are doing, the Brexit party was phase 2. See they attract all the mudslingers to UKIP, and Brexit as a new vehicle can sail clean through the murky waters, immune from merchants of hate who have a lightning rod to focus on.

It's surprising that they did manage it desu. I thought Nigel was pretty much done after all of this.
That would be surprising. A lot of people in the UKIP probably wouldn't be aware of it.
The UKIP was kind of a trick to begin with. They forced the tories to have a Brexit referendum because the UKIP was siphoning too many votes away from them and they would have made Labor win. The tories thought they would win this referendum but they didn't.
So who knows. It's possible. Voluntarily abandoning their former party and turning it into a kind of "shield" would be some next level shit though kek.

it's the same as the difference between the people's front of judea and the judean people's front

the Brexit Party isn't infested with obnoxious e-celebs

UKIP = real party for brexit, closed borders and national sovereignty
Brexit party = Conservative (neocon socialists) Lite

>UKIP was siphoning too many votes away from them and they would have made Labor win
not quite. ukip also attracted a lot of traditional labour voters. that is one of the reasons why the tories did so badly in the 2017 general election- they assumed that ukip voters would come to them, when in fact many went back to labour.
about 40% of labour voters voted leave in the brexit referendum.

ukip have never been about closed borders

The bourgeois Left hate the working class for not believing in their pozzed clown world ideology.

UKIP was dead after the June 23rd vote because its called the UK independence party.

Ukip has members, Brexit has online subscribers.

Official story is Farage felt he had won so wanted to retire from politics. When brexit didn't happen he felt compelled to return to the fray. UKIP was seen as poison, and he fucked them when he left, so he started a new party.
Unofficially, who fukin knows?

Something sure motivated them to have this referendum that they didn't want though.
>about 40% of labour voters voted leave in the brexit referendum.
Is this 40% of all labour voters, or 40% of the labour voters that did participate in the referendum?
The referendum had a pretty high participation rate in any case so it probably doesn't make that much of a difference.

34% is their ceiling

UKIP is racist and at 3%. Brexit party just wants a no deal Brexit and polls at 34%.

Then Tories poll ar 12% and Labour at 20% and they want a deal Brexit

Lastly, Lib Dems at 15% and Greens at 8% and CHUK at 4% want to remain in the EU.

The UK is backing no deal Brexit toughly 1/3, deal Brexit 1/3 and Remain 1/3.

The Brexit party only has paid memberships. That's their main financing source.

Probably nothing. Brexit party is just a clean slate.

The "UKIP is racist meme" is pushed by the media constantly. This allows brexit party a clean image. If this was planned its some 4d chess shit.

If they win the election they’ll get a shitton of election win money.

UKIP is indeed racist. Look at theirrallies now, it’s essentially BNP.

Yeah. It's ridiculous. Their policies are terrible for the working class. But they keep acting like they still represent them. And a lot of people believe it because they think it's just a fact.
There is another part to this story though that you don't often hear here. A lot of the lefty parties consider that they have been betrayed by a large part of the working class during the Reagan/Thatcher era. They had a big WTF moment when they kept losing. "We did all of this shit for these people and as soon as they're better off they won't even vote for us anymore? Fffffffuuuccck this shit.". This had a big impact on their strategies. It took them a while to adapt. But they did adapt and it's very, very machiavellian what they do now.
