Nobody? Come on I was hoping for some fellow pagans

link?
what was the hostility?

When people talk about Paganism I strictly think of those faggots who LARP about worshiping Nordic gods.
I feel like Greek/Roman gods shouldn't be grouped in the same category (pagan) as the pathetic Norse gods.

>
Have a good time but return here

They are both indo European polytheistic religions they were both referred to as pagans so why wouldn't we?

Bump

I agree. People should try and at least learn about Polytheism/Paganism besides just getting some novice info about Scandinavians. The only LARPers I can really think of are the Wicca.

Nice, give this one a listen: youtube.com/watch?v=uXwTf3WjLtE

Fuck Islam. Paganism will fucking destroy and kill the Arabs and their arabo supremacy.

What is this mashup even supposed to elude to?

Because one built the Roman empire and still inspires us to this day, and the other amounted to pic related.

Why should an atheist become pagan?

I wish Pagans would convert to Christianity like their ancestors did.

Attached: auv80y7u8zzy.jpg (736x1125, 151K)

Atheist are prone to becoming nihilist.

Well, the Roman Empire was already built, Christianity was more or less the falling resolution for it.

Why? Does your religion have to consume anything that is somewhat ancestral or should I say, white?

Because it's true

Prisca Theologia

I agree with you. Paganism was one of the first real religions that people believed in. While not being written down or made into a dogma it was vastly spread from Northern Europe to parts of the Mediterranean.

Africa was Pagan, Pagan is such a broad term it makes you sound like a clueless larper when you brand Paganism as a white tradition.

I mean, most common and well-known Paganism or Polytheism was given mostly through Europe and parts of Northern Africa (Egypt for example.) I mean that your religion, Christianity, is too moral and subversive. You really can't deny that.

So we are just going to disregard the germanics mastery of the sea and their civilizations because they built their structures, art and idols out of the resource that was super abundant to them?(wood)

nignog paganism > Christianity

Attached: 1551632314156.png (2602x1354, 322K)

Since I'm not facing death, imprisonment or exile like my ancestors did I think I'll pass.

Holy shit imagine believing this

I like earth, nature, spirits and magic I'm such neopagan lol.

The liberal humanism that made this sort of degeneracy possible was ironically likely born out of a Christian ethic. You're getting the two ideas completely backwards.

>this sort of degeneracy possible was ironically likely born out of a Christian ethic
Most likely since Christianity is more or less a "love thy neighbor" religion.

>morals are bad
The spiritual freedom that Paganism allowed its followers to pursue almost always leads to debauchery, orgies, drug use, etc.
There's a reason why they were defeated so easily. These sins makes you lose your warrior spirit, where Christianity builds you into a disciplined Paladin.

Making your winter shelter out of stone sounds like a good way to catch pneumonia.

Well we could judge Norse paganism on the fact that Christians had to write down everything we know about it.

Monotheistic structure is the result of growing space time navigational skills, with people shifting from nomadism to pastoral nomadism.

The melting pot of global theism is Central Asia, i.e. Nords would carry this navigatiomal skillset developed on the steppes with tents onto the sea with ships.

Now, that we have identified the most global religious entity, celestial worship, and understand the psychological evolution, we have the substrate to build the new religion, serving as a basis for the NWO.

Cool but things being made of wood means we don't know what they built. With hellenistic peoples we got lucky because they used materials like marble.

I didn't say people should go fuckin' haywire and start 20 person orgies and piss on everyone. I meant that Christianity was and IS too moral. Hell, you people have a whole rule book on what not do when alive so you can get into a holy land that lets you do everything that book just told you not to do!
Paganism allows people to let their hair down to an extent; there isn't a guide on how to fornicate in any Polytheist or Pagan scripture to be found. And another thing, you blame us Polytheist and Pagans for not "being smart enough to write down our religion." Well first off,
1. Scandinavians, Frisians, Saxons, Some Normans, Romans, and Greeks were all fully capable of literature, they just didn't care enough to really make a blog-post out of what they follow.

Right because they were closer to where Marble was available.

And we have seen living examples of how oral histories worked. So that point is moot.

Blood of Midgard reporting in.
I am glad to see a pagan thread and it not be cancer. I always enjoy talking about middle earth.

Attached: flat,550x550,075,f.u2.jpg (550x467, 54K)

>moot point
no, because one group (Roman Pagans) was smart enough to write down their own religious works and make beautiful artwork, statues, and architecture that still stands to this day. while the Norse Pagans were grug brained people who's history we largely only know about because another group wrote about them.

Religion is two things,

first a mnemonic network, this is applicable for early religion already.

Secondly GPS, which happens with the transition from true nomadism to semi nomadism.

Its purpose is to increase chances of survival.

This isn't politics.

Even though, which is also in the tradition of stinky horse riders, I don't claim any nationality but the celestial one, isn't it funny how a stinky half Turk REAL LIFE BUM reintegrated you into the new religion and reformed even yours, both fractions'.

It's more political than 99% of the threads on Jow Forums

The Germanics were surrounded by forest, had to live in a cold climate, both of these favor wooden structures instead of stone. meds live in a warmer climate surrounded by water, stone makes sense for them. We know germanics carved things and we have seen sophisticated designs on certain objects.

>ideological, moral and cultural makeup of different peoples

Ah, you worship pussy, god of felines.

I changed my mind, I worship my semen, attacks pussy.
My dick is the single commanding neuron in the network.

Their histories were oral which should have survived for as long as their people survived. Their statues were made of wood and so was their architecture. They have things that survived that show they were not unsophisticated as you say.

We need a new name. Like 'Traditional European Religion' but less wordy

I am interested about paganism, tell me about its gods and traditions other than the Norse paganism preferred.

>blog-post out of what they follow.
Why would they need too? They figured like most pagans of that time that it was the default and would always be known. It was self-evident a default aspect of life like eating or sleeping. Its hard for christkikes to understand this aspect and its very annoying. I would imagine they are very low IQ.

Mostly your ancestors but it depends on where your people were from. Many here have German/Norse ancestry so they worship Thor, Odin, Tyr etc.. Greeks and Italians would worship Zeus, Athena , Apollo, etc. Irish/Scottish/welsh would do Celtic gods Spanish/French would also do celtic gods but they are different somewhat from the Irish ones. All the Indo-European faiths are similar but they are different enough that most people follow the ones of their ancestors.

Almost every race/people had a version. What type do you want to know about?

I'm mostly anglo but I prefer hellenic mythology to norse. Does this make me a cuck?

European polytheism?

Follow the ways of God and live.
Do not die by your own folly.

worshiping a jew is not living.

Idk, I have this feelings you people are mostly into ancestor worship if at all, you don't seem to be very related to your gods.

Honestly I don't know, probably but its similar to your peoples religion so maybe its slightly less cucked than a monotheistic religion.

I do follow the ways of a god and I live.

Old faith

That's how we call it in Slovene - Stara vera

If it means anything I prefer it more for its aesthetic and its heroes rather then gods. Though I am a fan of the archer twins Apollo, Artemis.

>paganism
>most posters are rootless amerimutts
>mixed blood&flreign soil
By Toutatis, how fucking hilarious.

What gods would the French even worship? The Celic ones? The Roman ones? The German ones?

Don't get too high on your pedestal pal even discounting the 20% African population in your country you guys were already the mutts of Europe.

I agree that there is a lot there, id explore some Anglo Saxon and Celtic stuff first but I think any return to polytheism is probably good.

It would be something up my alley to fully delve into if I hadn't already met a handful of ultra cucked pathetic pagan reddit types before hand poisoning the well before I could develop an interest

I ended up taking the zoroastrianism pill instead

fuck abrahamic cucks

Amerimutts are mostly christcucks in my observation.
Only Europeans are rooted in blood and soil.

come home Roman man

people forget that puritans founded everything in america

>French
Because you guys are so pure. My ancestry is solely from the British isles, me living in America does not change that. The real question is why aren't you into it?

forgot pic.

Could you be a bigger slave. You do realize if you take the bible seriously Jesus was born an ashkenazi jew right? who you worship?

quit flaunting your indigenity privilege bigot

This century would have grown way Better if the jews didnt co.opt it with their jewish bibel and their jewsis propaganda.

Tyranis isn't Zeus

i dont bother with the smaller intra-sect name games, don't blame me that every religion was incestuous and reused the same dudes

Very similar but the only ones that are literally the same are the roman and greek gods.

Thanks for this user

I personally really enjoy Zoroastrianism, Pythagoreanism, and Platonism/Neoplatonism. They are all essentially related since it is said that Pythagoras in studying with the Chaldeans learned under Zoroaster. People accused Plato of plagiarizing Zoroaster, and that may be slightly true, since among the greatest followers of Pythagoras was Plato himself.

Phoenicians and the region of the Levant, such as Ugarit and Canaan, were about as similar to Greece as Rome was. Though all of Europe did share indo European mythology with common loan words and myths, preserved for who knows how long.

Deism and Pantheism are pretty legitimate American options rooted from its conceptual foundation and the people who made it happen.

Greek and Roman gods literally mirror each other user...

Your ancestors would spit and disdain you.

So would yours

Why did Varg take down his video listing Christian atrocities against Pagans in the early Christian age?
