The same reasons America is going to.
-Mass migration
-Overstretched Gib system
-Emotions leading the country

Its basically going to break up into warring nation states not this balkinization crap pushed here.

ask Paul

Greedy emperors who had no restraint. Nero was insane and effectively tried to bankrupt the country. Overstretched empire with insufficient resources to maintain colonies. Despite what people say, it's very different from today, the Roman leaders had wonderful technology but their ideas about how to deal with economics were in their infancy

Also fuck jannies that prune my threads about politics but tolerate Jews spam

Empires are essentially macro-organisms and like all life they are subject to death.
Read 'The Fate of Empires' it's as fascinating as it is horrifying when you realize we're in the last cycle right now.

The state would forgive a lot of debts, they would give free bread and circus.
The emperors were inbred degenerates.
They were basing their army power on mercenary hoards from the people they conquered and robed.
Too many invaders at the border.
Trajan was still expanding instead of consolidating.
The financial transactions were based on informal/backroom deals and people would annul the debt by killing the creditor.
They used too many slaves in high office positions and those slaves wouldn't get compensation when they were retired as an obligation.

They gave women rights. Rome used women to domesticate the conquered tribes. Their offspring would be fully Roman and the father would have a vested interest in the future of Rome. When they stopped giving them women, they rebelled.

True

Christcucks letting in barbaric immigrants in droves, just like they do today in Europe.

At some point the feel of the Roman empire went away.

They ran out of people to conquer. Imperial Rome would go out and defeat a new tribe and they would have to pay gold and taxes to Rome. They pushed up into england, germany, and into north africa.

The empire was in such a way that the had excessive border.

Because of jews and their white washed talmud for goys, the bibel and their eceleb jesus for propaganda.

Overextension, cultural destabilisation, and corruption.

Rome was never even the largest European power, it was just Mediterranean

Coin debasement and the true economic crises in the empire came literally hundreds of years after nero. The empire reached its greatest size under trajan and had no problems sustaining a large empire. The empire had contracted long before it collapsed.

Don't post anymore.

This. The costs to support the empire ended up being exponential. They could never have survived in that way. Thus why the Eastern Empire lasted so much longer. It was smaller and more insular.

Pretty much this.
Citizenship was handed out as a reward for military service which meant foreign cultures were A. Trained militarily and B settled in roman border territories. A recipe for disaster.

Cultural dilution is a thing. When being a roman ceased to mean something physically and mentally, it was over. Coin debasement due to corruption and graft (see cultural dilution again) was also a big factor. Everything else rome could have endured.

Failed to realize that no matter how much they conquered they'd never be able to supplant and override cultures with Roman culture on the entirety of their empire. Same thing as America. What does it mean to be American (cue in faggot imagery of niggers, spics, sandniggers, chinks, one white guy, a kike, etc.)?

that menorah is giving me a hint

Today is the same.

Jews and their ideological offspring, Christians.

>What does it mean to be American
This question breaks my heart. Apparently all it takes is a fucking piece of paper from a government that hates its own citizens but I'm persona non grata for questioning.

Incompetent and spineless emperors
Hiring germans into your armies, who have absolutely no loyalty to Rome besides money and would go on raiding rampages when they werent paid
Germans being too cowardly to face the Huns so they invaded Gaul/Iberia
General apathy from the Italian populace of the german invader
Christians persecuting pagans when they got into power decreasing the social cohesion of the empire

Stop being a history cunt. You know what I'm talking about. Generals and caesars operating without scrutiny or responsibility. Crazy people like Caligula running the whole empire. Corruption was surely a factor but this was outright mad people who were in charge of everything.

Easy one.

The Jews!

Same as America: oligarchs

>Why Rome collapsed?
Jews

Rome fell due gigantic invasions of barbarian tribes that had literally raided their infrastructure from the third centuries.
Rome fell due to economic troubles that had been around since BC. Oppressive taxation and inflation had widened the gap between rich and poor.
Rome fell due to extremely needless overexpansions to places with no real value, whilst getting fucked in the ass by their fellow pagans in the north who continued to raid and plunder their inner cities.
With such a vast territory to govern, the empire faced an administrative and logistical nightmare. Even with their excellent road systems, the Romans were unable to communicate quickly or effectively enough
to manage their holdings. Rome struggled to marshal enough troops and resources to defend its frontiers from local rebellions and outside attacks, and whenever they got the message and managed to put
together a force strong enough to fight them off, they were already gone. And then the process rinsed and repeated. Which was the reason for the splitting.
Rome fell due to extreme Government corruption and political instability which they had struggled with since forever. Rome fell due to the arrival of the Huns and the migration of the Barbarian tribes, as the roman empire was always very diverse and accepted both multiculturalism AND multiracialism (B..B..BuT I tHoUgHt PaGaNs WeRe PrO-wHiTe).
But yes, of course it was the book telling them how to behave like civilized people that was the reason for the fall. Rome was receding for a long time, and ironically Constantine (the Christian) was the one who restored its original borders and re-established a power structure capable of defending itself in Eastern Rome.
Also: many neo-kikes try to argue that Christianity first only spread amongst the poor. Actually the opposite is true. Christianity spread first among the elite Romans in Europe, not "slaves" as the un-researched meme has it.

It was at its peak, it continued the way it was supposed to and it collapsed as does any empire since forever
Jews accelerate it and are the key figures in it.
You cant stop a collapse at all, with or without jews, it happens anyway.
Here are the key characteristics of an empire that is about to collapse:
1. overindulgence
2. mass distractions in form of entertainment
3. oversized military that invents reasons for a conflict to justify its existence
4. worthless currency (be it paper or cheap metal) that has no real value behind it, whos use is enforced by the above mentioned military
5. rampant degeneracy
6. jewish cabal that has invested time, money and effort in running all or some of the above

ITT, people (burgers, anglos and shills) that know nothing about history at all.
With the exception of this one who at least has some more than basic understanding.
Plebs.

Short answer: Roman Empire died with the crisis of the third century. In practice in 220 it was already zombified. The surprising thing was that it still managed to last almost two centuries more.
Because no matter how decent the later leadership managed to be (Diocletian, Constantine, Julian, etc....), no country would be able to recover from one fucking century of political instability which caused continuous civil war, coin debasement and consequent exponential insulation of regions and stop of almost all trade. The entirety of fucking Gaul reverted to barter, ffs.

When said decent leadership got its shit back together, the damage was already unfixable.

It took Rome some 500 years to truly die under the grindstone of WW1. We’re in for a long fucking ride.

To expand on this, imagine that the year of the four emperors didn't end up with the stable and skilled Flavian dynasty but with further decades of civil war. Rome would have collapsed or splintered much earlier.

Consider that it was in a similar position during the late Republic (Sulla vs Marius, Sertorius in Spain, Social war, Spartacus, Pompey vs Caesar, 2nd Triumvirate vs Caesaricides, Octavianus vs Antonius). But it all happened in a far smaller and more cohesive territory, for a somewhat shorter time. It also had much greater room for aggressive expansion to recover its finances (In the East at first, then Gaul, then Egypt), which was not as easily available after the third century crisis.

Mass migration

Too centralized. Italy should have been self sufficient in foodstuffs and not rely on Egyptian grain. Slavery took away the need to innovate labor saving inventions.

No middle class to drive innovation and consumption. The Roman Empire would have been better off if it was more like renaissance Germany. Not just a giant capital but lots of cities with an industrious middleclass. Not a bunch of worthless mouths to feed and riot over Gibs.

Satan preys on human weakness. He made them weak.

>yfw Crisis of the 21st Century and American Military Anarchy SOON

I want to arrest our government today. Not tomorrow.

It collapsed because of Christianity, those that try to tell you otherwise are just lying to you.
All middle eastern religions are absolute dogshit and lead to civilizations stagnating and dying of their own smell, it tock1500 years to fucking make one of those religions even viable basically their final conclusion was to stop existing and let the people evolve philosophies more flexible but then some retards took our cultural heritage and transformed it into Socialism, Communism and Fascism. What a disaster...

>It collapsed because of Christianity
So not because of the overextension, political infighting, sacking by jilted foreign mercs, or Marian reforms?
What did Christianity happen to do again?

>Islam
Islam came after the collapse and used its backup to expand all over the place, so not true.

Christianity created a culture of losers, you can see how Christianity from that era looked like by observing Muslims and their retarded rules.

Christianity demonized commerce from day one.
Established modesty rules.
The Giv me thad mentality comes from those religions.
Prohibiting interest rates is basically a Christian invention.

just imagine having a decent economy under those criterias... it wont happen.

Moronic, ignorant bullshit.

Wrong, but not stupid.

>Established modesty rules.
Romans did that. They were far more conservative than most people think.
>just imagine having a decent economy under those criterias
I can imagine the rest of Europe for 1500 years, yes.

One book I'm reading says that Rome collapsed when they lost control of the Mediterrean Sea.

They were the only ones which needed addressing. The others weren't problems, and none of them caused any detriment to West Rome. They certainly didn't hamper East Rome.

hey here another fact.
Christianity loves poor people. so much that they create more of them.

Look at all that vibrant multi culturalism

Unsourced and contrary to history, just like all your other "facts."

Peter Turchin makes some interesting points.
>Growing political instability is first and foremost a result of elite overproduction leading to excessive intra-elite competition and conflict. This main driver is supplemented by mass mobilization of non-elites resulting from popular immiseration and by failing fiscal health of the state.
peterturchin.com/cliodynamica/fall-rome-happen/

devaluation of currency
having a mercenary army

Muslim slavers raided as far north as Iceland, the shores of southern europe were raided so heavily that white DNA in Italy virtually disappeared to a depth of 60 miles from the shore line.

Interesting fact. The year Rome fell, was also the year gladiators were banned and the colosseum shut. After a public outcry, Rome had SJW's too.

bumb

It was fixable until Honorius.

Basically what happened is Rome was low on Manpower. Honorius Godfather(Stilicho) struck a deal with the Goths who lived in Rome's border. The Romans then refused to pay the Goths(Alaric) So Alaric Marched his men to Rome.
The Godfather told Honorius to pay them, Nigger Romans like Olympius told Honorius not to. Honorius and the court fled to Ravenna an easily defendable city.
Meanwhile Roman pastanigger citizens started mass slaughtering Germans in riots as anti barbarian racism came to an all time high. These Germans fled to Alaric's army making it an absolute unit. Alaric's army then sieged Rome in order to Force Honorius to pay debts.
Honorius tells Alaric to come to Ravenna to get paid. Honorius sets a trap on the way to Ravenna, but not a big enough trap to destroy Alaric's army.
Alaric after being crossed by the Roman Pasta Niggers a third time says fuck you and sacks Rome to get paid. Honorius did nothing to stop him nor could he do much.
After Rome was sacked by Alaric the soon to be Western Roman Empire became an Absolute Clown show.

How Inequality, Diversity And Empire Brought
Down The Roman Republic
With history often so eager to repeat itself, is
America, like Rome, doomed?

>It was fixable until Honorius.

I disagree.
While it's certainly true that Honorius did his worst to accelerate and fuck up with the whole Goth debacle and the schizophrenic way it was handled, by the time of Stilicho Rome was already doomed in its current state. And the manpower shortage was a direct consequence of the abovementioned 100 years of strife.
It was a bit like a patient whose blood vessels (internal trade routes, in this case) are almost completely obstructed. For sure, a better lifestyle (leadership) might have prolonged a bit its lifespan, but a fatal stroke was only a matter of time.

The strength of Rome earlier on, on many fronts, was such that it could survive even the most inept leadership, like it did many times earlier (Early 2nd punic war, Arausio, the late Julian dynasty, for instance).
However, at this point the foundation and the structure of the Empire was so brittle and precarious that it would have needed a continuous stream of almost perfect rulers and circumstances to survive.
It didn't have that luxury, especially sjnce its ability to produce a good ruling class was, like everything else, much impaired.

The Manpower issue was more than a strife issue. Plague since the time of Marcus Aurelius was decimating the Roman population.
If Commodos continues Marcus's campaigns its possible although unlikely he pacifies Germania.
Perhaps if Rome annexes Germania like it thought it was going to in the 1st century instead of getting BTFO in the teutoberg Forest things turn out differently or at least last far longer.
I agree that the structure of Emperor was shit. It was an autocratic jingoist society.
I don't believe Christianity had much to do with it. Other than Decius being a cunt and turning Christians into Martyrs.

As for the immigration issue. Yea the Western Roman Empire was getting filled with barbarians many of whom were assimilating. And Rome needed the Manpower due to plague. But often the issue was Romans shitting on and killing the Germans because they needed a scapegoat. In similar fashion Pagan Romans blamed Christians for plague and killed 10's of thousands of christian neighbors as a scapegoat.

The same reason most white empires fall: Jews

They denied the Jews their ethnostate.
