Ah, if only it could work like that. I'm a young adult and the people of my age barely know any book. Being in the internet era, they never, ever opened a book and only read a summary. They can't spell a correct sentence in french (my language h) and can only speak in anglicism and slurs. It saddens me a lot.
When I try and tried to make people of my age read books, they told me i ducked the french teacher's dick. Wanting to encourage others to get cultivated made me get bullied.
What saddens me is also the fact that when they saw me read a classic book back in middle school, they would ask me if we had a test about it.
They weren't able to remember Thales ' formulas but know who Kim K sucked.
It saddens me way too much to see that. And this, without talking about general atheism.
When i ask them why they are atheist they tell me it's to live fully their life and that religion is only a wall from living life.

They aren't atheist because they are against religion but just because everyone is atheist as it is a trend and follow this like foolish npcs.
It's only a small example of what i can experience that are the medias ' consequences on people.

Because I realized, before it was too late, that i had to change before i would end up like them. I just cut the bond i had with dumb medias by deleting my social medias, shitpost, and blocked dumb youtubers and began to look at drama représentations for example.
