3 from drug overdoses. Another one died in a hazing accident at the same uni I go to. A fifth was hit by a drunk driver and was killed instantly.

Well one died right away from an OD. Which was probably ok he would dress up as dorthy from the wizard of oz and wear knee high red sparkle boots. He worked at planned parenthood and would stab the free condoms with pins. He openly talked about wanted to be patient zero with a new plague that would wipe out a third or more of the human population. He was a creep. Lots more died from drugs, shootings, and just toxic relationships. Three women I went to school or worked with while in high school ended up murdered by boyfriends. People that had kids actually seem to live a little longer although they probably shouldn’t. Their kids all have extreme problem. Like pooping in their dresser drawers and drawing inappropriate clowns and what not. Their parents are narcissistic jerks who lock them in rooms so they don’t interrupt video game time. I don’t know any of them anymore. It hurts too much to go back. I had a phone call from a friend who I knew was ok but was legit going the way of antifa. He said a mutual high school friend needed. Place to stay. I picked him up and he started talking about himself as Superman and in the third person. Then started rearranging my furniture. And talking about how they were coming to get him to test him because he is Superman. He started counting people in my neighborhood and when A woman started yelling at her husband he ran over to save her. Weird. Anyways I had my kids at the house and had to get my spouse to say they were spending the night at grandmas and so was she. I know your pain user. Watching everything decay around you. Will say this, when a junky breaks into my home, police take 4 hours to come file a report. When that junkie hits some bad batch and is dying, cops are there in 5 minutes to give narcan at taxpayers expense to save their life. Cant allow the governments drug customers to die off completely, at peast not before we can get replacement africans and arabs and latinos in first.

I think from my 4 year tenure in a pretty big suburban hub school probably about 70. But we had regional tendency towards substance abuse.

I don't even remember anybody from high school and I'm only a 30 year old boomer.

i can think of two from highschool that are dead from drug overdose. Two my my uncles also ruined their lives with opiates and while they're still alive perhaps they'd be better off dead.

I don't really know, I deleted facebook a few years after highschool and lost contact with everyone after moving around so much. I know before I deleted facebook, a former friend in my year('10) from another school killed himself with a shotgun. Felt kind of shitty about it, he was the friendly butt of middle school fat jokes. I went out to visit that friend group all the time after leaving the school and he seemed happy enough. There was also a girl I graduated with who was murdered by a meth head, she was a mother of two iirc. I'm sure there's been a ton of suicides since but I went to over a dozen schools growing up and don't have strong enough ties to any of them to know.

Good question. I am from a working-class town in MD. A good friend of mine became addicted to percocet and soon thereafter went to jail. Another acquaintance with drug involvement shot himself in the head. Another died as a result of a heroin overdose -- his friends were scared and didn't call an ambulance. And another kid died only a short time ago from a heroin overdose. Not all from my graduating class, though.

This happens all the time. Drugs are killing-off an entire generation.

While I was in highschool a kid killed himself, really sad, since I was good friends with the dude's roommate. We were all told it was a car accident that killed the dude, I believed that too until some people added the things together with a train accident, same day, same school, same age. I couldn't believe it, I felt like an idiot. Jumping out in front of a train is just the shittiest way to end it. That's about it though, no other people I remember from HS are dead.

It's crazy that so many burgers report around a dozen. While this is of course a biased sample, the difference is still striking. I have plenty of friends from non-private schools, and don't recall ever hearing about opiate abuse. I'm guessing this "hearing about" network covers like 1500 students. I knew of one guy from uni in Germany who did smoke literal opium for a short time, but he was the erovid try-everything drug gourmet kind of guy. He did have a psychotic break later though, I think he blamed it on PCP.

I graduated from Towson HS in 2006. It's a very short drive from Baltimore city and a lot of niggers went there instead of the city by using fake addresses. A solid 1/3 of the graduating class offed themselves, was killed, are in prison, or OD'ed by the time the 10 year anniversary happened. Can't wait for the 15.
