i had a polish friend who used to fly from here to poland, hire a car and drive down to croatia to holiday by the beach. he said on a few occasions his group got into fights and nearly got beat up on the way because people heard them speaking polish rather than the local language (slovakian, hungaria or whatever). so if people there would want to beat up even someone from a neighbouring country im sure theyd gladly beat up a visiting arab.
