A few years ago a Frenchman wrote what the Americans were like from his experience in Afghanistan.
His first point was that Americans are tall, often standing a head taller than their European counterparts. He noted that the Americans were very easy to pick out.
Second, he stated that every military has that one person who is just a waste of air, the general screwup in the unit. However, with the Americans even the most screwed up guy is better trained than those of other forces.
The average American is strong. Very strong. From his base of operations he claimed that the weakest American was stronger than the strongest soldier in the French units. If a unit was in trouble you prayed that an American unit took up the radio call for help. When American forces picked up the call their reply was "sit tight, we are coming to get you." There wasn't any logistic haggling until the Americans were fully committed to your rescue. They came regardless of what the situation was, In fact they wouldn't ask about specifics until they got close to your position and often knew the threats in the area before asking what problems you were having.
He also realized one overwhelming fact. In all other forces, if an officer was killed you're taught to dig in and take a defensive position. Not the Americans. If an American officer is taken out of commission they go on the attack. He realized that American officers restrain the troops under their command, not for their protection but the enemy's. If you kill or injure an American officer, they are coming for you and very little will save you.
That was one of the theories as to why Germany gave up in WWI. You had these scrawny dwarves killing one another for three years when all of a sudden these giants who wolfed down 150 lbs of meat per year were pouring off boats in an endless waves. They were inexperienced fighters but what fucking difference did that make? It was terrifying to even look at them.

>video not a member of US military >shills America
I wish all this was true, but when I read >His first point was that Americans are tall, often standing a head taller than their European counterparts I knew it couldn't be. The US Military is full of beaners dragging down the average height.

I don’t understand why euros think we aren’t in this together
That's because most European regiments are underfunded and underpowered and have been since the 1960s. The British Army is the best in Europe and even then the only serious infantry regiment (excluding RM, SAS, etc.) are the Paras.
Leo Cruz
>than their European counterparts The French guy is probably just talking about the french soldiers then, because my country heightmogs yours and we most certainly heightmog the French.
I' don't doubt that we have better morale in general. I think this is obviously true. Also, we have a smaller armed forces than before WWII by population per capita; when Romania had a larger force. And, the average enlisted soldier is more educated by the end of their enlistment than the average American, and America beats most of western Europe on 'college educated' adults. I think its more a statement on Europe than anything. Its not really about the US. We also practice chaos on a daily basis. The one thing I've actually contributed to this place is saying that if we don't know what we're doing, the enemy can't either.
Julian Price
Not untrue. There are a couple studs and serious regiments but a lot of them (HAC, etc.) are ridiculous. Welsh Guards are another exception; half of them are into serious powerlifting.
We are top quality jew slaves kek, not sure we should be proud of it.

There's a good copypasta floating around about whites having the blood of psychopathic warmongers running through their veins hence why you probably shouldnt antagonize them, I dont understand why trannies and deepstate short of working with the military industrial complex ever expect people to sot back as more and more people become aware of the agendas behind the politicians pushing welfare, migration and open borders while saying YT bad.
ask the dutch what they think of Aussies, and ask the stan'ees what they think of the red rats haha,
have to say tho the U.S infantry and marines on average are pretty big units always keen for a fight if you couldnt talk about guns, trucks, pussy, or killing shit they had nothing to do with ya haha i always respected them greatly because they generally got thrown into the worst shit of any coalition force.
>The British Army is the best in Europe and even then the only serious infantry regiment (excluding RM, SAS, etc.) are the Paras. The Netherlands has some good marine units I hear. They train with the UK marines every year, and are held in high regard. Paras are also always elite, but every division except the one based in he west coast (I think Alaska, Hawaii, and the west coast in general), is considered elite in its field. The #1 division to lead others incase we need a major enlistment or draft.
Zachary Ortiz
Actually Army does dig in if an officer dies, Marines go down the chain until fucking Senior private is in charge of fucking straight boots.
Tyler Myers
holy shit you're so retarded you should be kept in a cage.
Luke Ortiz
Sounds about right. Dont believe what liberal assholes on TV and online tell you, I know from first hand personal experience that we FUCK SHIT UP.
Camden Campbell
>Actually Army does dig in if an officer dies, Marines go down the chain until fucking Senior private is in charge of fucking straight boots. My impression is that Marines would needlessly attack if cornered, Army would delay and try to find a way out, and something like the Rangers would give you the slip, commandeer your trains, and ride them all the way across the country to escape. Different attitudes are needed in war.
Angel Jackson
I'll bet he felt like a million bucks after that.

Your military, or our guys? I see some of our branches slackening, but that could be anecdotal. You guys, unfortunately, are crushed by the disunity of the continent, and social and political systems that really fail to maintain proper militaries. It's shocking to think an island like Britain basically conquered the world, or that France held close to what the British did. It's not you guys as a people, but the systems you are under. I suppose modern tech is also harder to supply and upkeep as opposed to older, simpler stuff, but the infrastructure also wasn't as advanced, at least not from 1700 to 1920 as opposed to 1920 to 1970s/80s(when most of us still had manufacturing bases), obviously the US is still in a better position there, but I'm not sure how much that really matters.
Jayden Roberts
Real talk, the US troops I've seen IRL have all been tall Chads who were whiter than I'll ever be. I suppose professional armies can afford to weed out skinny manlets, unlike our conscript military that's always lowering the health requirements.

Every nation in Europe has some sort of unit that is capable of going full operator on a moment's notice, but the difference between these units and the average Marine unit is negligible. The true American special forces units are absolutely the best in the world, in part because we fund them, but also in part because have the space to train them. A huge reason why the British and French militaries lead the EU pack is because they regularly train overseas in different territories, i.e. UK still uses proving grounds and infantry grounds in Canada and Australia to this day although they aren't labeled as external installations for political reasons.
>“The prevailing opinion in Germany before our entry into war, was, that American was a money hunting nation, too engrossed in the hunt of the dollar to produce a strong military force. But since our troops have been in action the opinion has changed, and he says that though Germany is at present a defeated nation, he believes that they would be victors in a war with any nation in the world with the exemption of the United States.”
—Karl Finkl of Bolingen
>I fought in campaigns against the Russian Army, the Serbian Army, the Roumanian Army, the British Army, the French Army, and the American Army. All told in this war I have participated in more than 80 battles. I have found your American Army the most honorable of all our enemies. You have also been the bravest of our enemies and in fact the only ones who have attacked us seriously in this year’s battles. I therefore honor you, and, now that the war is over, I stand ready, for my part, to accept you as a friend.

>I suppose professional armies can afford to weed out skinny manlets, unlike our conscript military that's always lowering the health requirements. 'Diversity' is a real problem, make no mistake. I have a cousin who's career enlisted. He used to ask people to add 17, 8 and 24 to see if they used their fingers to see if they would waste his time. He was a recruiter (something like 6 years in, you need to be a recruiter or drill sergeant for a time. Can you convince people to join, or train them?) Those that used their fingers he would refuse to even give a ASVAB test to. On a personal level, I was rejected when I went in on a lark (the DMV was busy that day, and it was next door), because I came 'too late in the season'. At that time, 500 GED people were require by all services to be taken (to protect homeschoolers mostly). He was talking to me about language school after the practice test, how I would need another test and I could take an adventure to Australia for schooling. Told me to fuck off and go to college if I wanted in, but maybe the Navy and Airforce would make an exception. There's higher standards than some let on, but also bullshit on the woman and 'Dreamers' front.
Lets make one thing fucking clear...Americans and the white race in general, absolutely fucking KILL it when it comes to conflict. All the bitching and hurt feelings will NEVER change this.
Dominic Brown
Cause atack when this makes absolutely no sence like dothraqis

But the French are taller on national average and military physical restrictions probably bring the average of the French armed forces up. This sounds like pro-American propaganda.
Justin Cruz
Most of that is not true, particularly the part where you made up or your cousin lied about the thing with the finger-counting. Recruiters get pummeled in the NCOER if they don't meet mission and will do anything they can to make quota, whether it's ignoring a conviction that's not listed in NCIC, generating fake green cards and diplomas, getting moral waivers for sex offenders and junkies, anything at all. The US hasn't met recruiting/personnel quota once since the draft ended. There is no way your fag retard cousin has the luxury of imposing an arbitrary and meaningless test to weed out exactly the same people who are the only ones who are going to enlist anyway.
I don't understand the point of the rest of your story, where you're unqualified to serve but it's somehow everyone else's fault?
The article is from 2008. A lot has changed in 10 years

>White underwear The balls on this man.
Jason Smith
I suppose I left out, after he found out I had a GED he went cold on his pitch. You probably need 15 college credits to get in the Army or Marines. He told me the Navy only fulfilled that law (which changes all the time, and this was 10+ years ago) half the time, and the Airforce never once. So a high 90's ADSVAB was rejected then, at the height of the Iraq war. My cousin also told me that a recruit should never admit to taking asprin for headaches, least his report shouldn't match up with an interview later a boot camp. Long story short, you can be rejected over even the smallest stuff in this day and age. Only the best.
This entire thread is just shills posting pr for the us military

LMAO!

its kind of an abstract concept harkening back to the early days of the american frontier, but americans are probably the most resistant group of people to chaos. not necessarily hardship, but being okay with there being gaps in the plan that you can't figure out now but you'll figure out later
its not just having a plan, it's having an open ended plan, an open ended plan with the implication that we help other people that are also winging their plan. there's a reason that stopping and helping people on the side of the road is an american thing, in other countries people don't even put themselves in situations where they could find themselves stranded on the side of the road in the boonies
yuros will insist its a dumb mindset and nowhere near as refined or efficient as the one they've come up with but it speaks volumes that they think americans care about being part of a well oiled machine. our machine definitely isn't oiled and functioning in the face of confusion and adversity is a core part of our national pride
Dominic Garcia
We had... so much potential.. even up will 2012... now we are a nation of obese clowns void of any notion of americanism. Oh what we were once. A voice speaking freedom and manifest destiny. We used to gaze at the heavens and claim the stars would be ours one day. Now we will be an echoe of once was. People we wuz Americans n ahit.

Yeah maybe taller than the average "american" which includes a bunch of midget spics and asians. For sure not taller than your average white American.

>But the French are taller on national average and military They are half an inch shorter on average. >and military physical restrictions probably bring the average of the French armed forces up The US has height (and overall physical restrictions) for certain units. >This sounds like pro-American propaganda. It could be, but a lot of foreign troops kind of say the same (sans height) when it comes to American logistics, and support. Even a us fighter pilot would at times lend a sonic boom to an ally in trouble.

>Heavily built, fed at the earliest age with Gatorade, proteins, and creatine- they are all heads and shoulders taller than us and their muscles remind us of Rambo. >American In Afghanistan with Brits >Suddenly mortar strike >Everyone dives for cover >Suddenly a British guy next to me underneath a Humvee checks his watch and yells “4 BONG! 4 BONG” >Sporadic shouts of “4 BONG” continue down the line. >Office stands to full height and jumps on top a truck amid mortar fire, yells “Right-o lads! 4 bong, and be quick about it, yes?” >British guys leap from cover yelling “4 BOOOOONG! 4 BOOOOONG!” >Officer scans the area and picks out a burnt-out crater, and says “This will do nicely. Private Wallace!” >A guy wearing a foldable tea table on his back and carrying a full tea set comes out of nowhere, sets up a full table in about 2 seconds complete with tea set, butter, and crumpets. >Brits sit at the table sipping tea, casually chatting and discussing the weather in great detail while explosions rain around them for about 10 minutes >Officer yells “Pack it up, lads!” >Mysterious tea man comes out and the tea set disappears as soon as I blink >Brits dive for cover next to the Americans who are still staring dumbfounded
What's wrong with that. Fucking coward that's why you get raped by raghead everyday now. Your not even a real country bitch lasagna. Why is it they are taught differently. I doubt a air force guy would even be on the ground let alone off a base or ship. Kys commie. Even if the other side surrenders? I don't see a sf going AWOL to settle a debt.

Mmmm pasta for breakfast.
I'm sure some Mercans actually think this. But in real life they're known to be trigger happy retards who can barely spell their own name. The special forces might be OK, but generally they're just high-school dropouts plus expensive gear.

We were taught to break contact and prepare for a counter attack. It's extremely hard to lose a long skirmish as an American because we've got infinite ordinance and QRF on standby. That's why we'd rather just draw things out a bit.

>but generally they're just high-school dropouts plus expensive gear. You couldn't be more wrong. They won't accept you if you have a GED w/o 15 college credit hrs. Point blank.
