No lol, it was switched to HD. It's actually better video quality than cable, although there'll probably be a limited selection of things you're interested in... If you already own a TV you have hooked up to your PC and no cable/satillite there's not reason not to pay $7 for a set of rabbit ears to watch some sports/racing or see if there's anything interesting on your local news. There's also just weird shit you can find in general sometimes, like I found this channel once that had a bunch of "extreme" sports like people windsurfing and ice sailing and shit, and another one that showed History channel shows from 10 years ago, or another time this channel came in that's this independent news network with literally two stations that was relatively neutral and covered things you don't see on normal tv news. Not really anything you can't get elsewhere but it was good to know they're out there I guess. The odds of non-major network stations drops very low once you get away from major cities however I think

the 13 channels mostly shit. one of them is french and the other is just the tv guide shit. there are still some good shows to be had otherwise it would get boring fast.
i just pay for IPTV service from one of those sketch websites. get all the cool educational programs that you wont get on the mainstream OTA channels.

This. The best part of OTA isn’t the 2-3 major network stations you are guaranteed to get, but the obscure random channels you may pick up.
I get three random channels - one is called Court TV and is something you’d expect on Cable yet I get a free digital signal of it from Buffalo for some reason. Another station is called “Bounce” and appears to be targeted to African-Americans and airs constant comedy movies or action flicks with lots of black actors. The last is some Christian channel.

I don’t think these channels are amateur, we have digital signal here now as well. I think someone is paying for it, which is even weirder. I imagine the channel targeted towards blacks does well though as I can’t imagine blacks can maintain paying a cable bill every month
