Redpill me on Las Vegas NV

Thinking about moving in the suburbs of Las Vegas.

Have been planning to change careers and I have enough saved to last me a while. Maybe even attend the university there.

If anybody would like to share their experiences about what it’s like to live around Vegas please redpill me br0.

Why would you even consider that hellscape

Lots of radiation there still left over from the bomb testing that happened just outside of town (before the merkins knew how dangerous it was and then for a decade or so after hoping nobody would notice).

You might enjoy the gambling and the shows but if you stay too long you WILL get cancer. If you have a kid it might suffer from a mutation.

Fell on some hard times here in CA and wanted to start new somewhere nearby where I’d like to eventually retire someday.

I’m hardly middle aged and am looking to start fresh in Vegas. Anybody got advice for me?

Vegas is for prostitutes, drugs, and gambling. Why live in such a gross place? Idaho and Utah are cheap and there are better places in NV too. Unless you plan on being a degenerate there is nothing for you in Vegas

>attend a university.
Why would you go to las vegas for that? They have one shit uni and it doesn't give real degrees.
Don't move to las vegas. There is no water, it gets unbearably hot every summer, and there is no reason to be here other than gambling. No joke, the entire economy is fueled by gambling tourists. The only other thing happening in the whole state of nevada is mining, and you don't want to work for mines.

taxicab confessions had a few shows in vegas. most depressing people I ever saw. was a trainwreck o'consequences

Please don't. Its shitty like LA without the beaches. Next 5-10 years its going to be as expensive as Southern California. Stay out of Nevada... I have experience myself.

Isn't it like full of wetbacks?

Jesus what a bunch of assholes in this thread.
Cancer rates for residents are the sames as other cities.
All that shit is on the strip. The strip is like 5% of town and locals hate going there.
Graduated from UNLV and went to work at the biggest, most prestigious employer in my profession.
People in cabs are from somewhere else.
It's cheap to live here with world class entertainment and dining. Fair enough, no beaches, I do like the beach.
Yeah, it is the southwest US, hard to avoid.

Congrats user, I’m sure being a blackjack dealer and cumrag cleaner lvl 2 at a casino/strip club are great professions. I’m sure you won’t lose your mind living in a suburban beige neighborhood where every house looks identical for miles and miles upon end.

I went to Las Vegas once on business and never again. It was the single most moribund and Judaic place I’ve ever been and is infested with the most rank niggers. It depresses you to the core.

Although I did not graduate from the hospitality school, it is considered one of the best, if not the absolute finest education in hospitality in the world. You visited the degenerate strip. If you could have dragged yourself from the gambling and strip clubs, you might have seen the rest of the city, which has mormons and hiking and other wholesome shit.

Christ why don't you gas those motherfuckers already? What are you waiting for?

Blackpilled, man. I'm a peasant-tier retired NEET, and I'd rather watch the decline from behind my computer screen that get stabbed in the middle of some poverty chimpout.

Went to Vegas a couple weeks ago. I dont know what I expected desu. The homeless just living off the strip and sleeping inbetween the casino landscaping. Head down to Fremont to only see more homeless and more begging. The best part was seeing homeless take pictures of middle aged fat white liberals flipping off Trumps place.

The Hotels have great views.

Dont do it. Extremely hot. Once the economy slips into another recession, you are going to wish you were elsewhere as the economy gets hit extra hard as it is primarily the hospitality industry. Ive lived there for ten years before moving back to DFW.

The ultimate redpill is, that the fabulous LV signpost is standing in a place called "Paradise", while we are stuck in hell on Earth, absent of inspiration. This world is a game board.

I absolutely hated the strip, even the suite they gave me. It was like someone had designed a hotel room for a person that had never stayed in a nice hotel beforehand. The entire time you're inside any of the very top tier hotels you still feel like you're being monitored for the smallest thing.

But the deal I worked on was with Summerlin. I still found that depressing as all hell. It was composed of identical houses being thrown off the shelves with ostensibly enormous profit margins that were underwritten so badly that we were trying to simply stop cash from hemorrhaging further. I was out there with the boys from Howard Hughes. I can only say with absolutely no reservation that I would have to shoot myself if I lived in any suburb of Las Vegas, no matter how garish and huge the house is, for any length of time.

The north of your state is pretty though.

people shoot hundreds there and the bi doesnt care. what happens there stays there. aparently

I hear you bro. Stay sharp White man.

True, it is really hot here during summer. The last recession was tough, but I don't think we've bubbled back like other cities.
I agree and dislike the cookie cutter communities as much as anyone, but the whole southwest looks like that, unless you are in older areas or outside major cities.

I stayed on the strip once, at Mandalay. It was boring and miserable. I stayed on Fremont at 4 Queens and had a complete blast. I love Vegas. I gambled for a few days, then went camping for two. Primm was really cool to see too.

yeah Utah doesn't need anymore faggots were full to the gills, please go live in Vegas

>vegas
it's socal but all desert, all suburb, and even shittier somehow

Sadly, NV has gone almost completely blue in the last 2 elections due to Californian and Hispanic transplants. So basically expect NV to turn into a liberal shithole state in the next 10 years with all the same nightmares as Cali.

I've lived here almost 20 years. Yup, Vegas is getting California-fied. Bought a house in a new development, a lot of California License plates in the driveways. The nearly billion dollar highway construction project on I-15 is wrapping up. It eliminated the Strip-bypass express lanes and introduced HOV lanes... REEEEEEE

Also, just the past election cycle just turned state leadership is almost entirely Blue. Nevada is now famous for the first state to have a majority women state legislature.
