It makes complete sense. I used to be an autist and now I'm not. I was diagnosed with asperger's because I was an anti social dickhead who didn't know how to behave around people. Mostly it was due to constantly moving schools during child hood leading to bullying in middle school which carried into highschool. I was a fairly normal kid until about grade 5 or 6 when I internalized all the bullying. Probably my parents fault for constantly moving schools to be honest. I never really had any child hood friends. It's still kinda sad when I think about it. But anyway, now that I'm out of school and I can choose who I want to socialize with. I find that, even though I make some blunders every now and then, all in all I'd say I'm more social then some of the other people I see around the place. I don't have any trouble approaching groups of people or anything like that.

The best thing is that it gives you a new perspective on life and relationships. You realize just how similar everyone is and that all social interactions are really just a game where people present themselves as they want to be seen and that most people are constantly trying to validate themselves to others. People who develop naturally don't tend to realize this fully. They're usually stuck being socialized and can't break away from others to form their own personality fully. Obviously it's much easier to normally develop but being a sperg and then developing consciously during adult hood gives you a sense that you can achieve anything.

For me, I found that once I just start winging social interactions instead of trying to run my own "choose your own adventure story" in my head with all the possibilities, that socializing was easy. As long as I did not care what others thought of me, I was okay. Though for this reason, I had to stop looking for waifu potential in women.
