Jews were typically used as tax collectors all through the medieval period in Europe as Jews were typically owned as chattel property by the European nobility. This is also why Jews were allowed to make loans as Jews could not own land but the debts were property of the King and he could use this to seize land of debtors for the crown.

Its a topic not touched on often as people dont like to admit the European nobility in virtually every European country used Jews as court factors/sheriffs/tax collectors. They made a great scapegoat for the royalty as jews collecting taxes and making loans allowed for some distance between the focus of the peasants anger and the nobles even though it directly benefited the nobles.

The entire central banking system was created by a court factor for German nobility.

Much of the Rothschilds investments are intermingled with those of the royal families of Europe (who are also all German) particularly with the British royals through British Petroleum and the Dutch Royals through Royal Dutch Shell. Yes but the issue I have with that is that it exists in Scandinavia, The Netherlands, Spain, Italy, France you name it.
